At 18 by 18 inches and 1 inch thick, the pad balances footprint and portability; the molded rope-style handle simplifies carrying and positioning on jobsites, campsites or roadside repairs. It’s a common choice for utility trucks, cranes, RV leveling, tree-trimming rigs and other gear that needs a reliable support surface.

How does this pad improve stability for outriggers and jacks?

The OP18X18P increases contact area beneath jack feet and outrigger shoes to distribute weight and reduce pressure on soft or uneven ground. Its non-slip HDPE surface helps limit lateral movement, while the 1-inch thickness resists deformation under heavy loads. Use it under hydraulic outriggers, trailer jacks, and crane supports to lower the chance of sinking or tipping.

18 x 18 inch footprint spreads load to reduce ground pressure

1-inch HDPE thickness resists cracking and flexing under weight

Non-slip surface decreases slippage on concrete and pavement

Lightweight for easy placement during setup or transport

Will this pad protect pavement, concrete and lawn surfaces?

Yes—the HDPE construction provides a durable barrier that prevents jack feet and outriggers from gouging or scuffing paved and concrete surfaces. On softer ground, the broad pad helps prevent rutting and sinking that can damage lawns or compacted soils. It’s a practical alternative to heavy rubber pads when you need something easier to move without sacrificing surface protection.

HDPE resists abrasion and impact on paved areas

Wide surface prevents concentrated pressure marks on concrete

Spreads load on soft ground to limit turf damage

Lightweight design avoids dragging or scraping delicate finishes

How portable and user-friendly is the OP18X18P on the job?

The pad is intentionally lightweight compared to rubber equivalents, making it simple to carry between sites. A built-in rope-style handle provides a secure grip for one-handed transport and fast placement under a jack or outrigger. It’s frequently selected by utility crews, aerial lift operators, tree-trimming teams, and RV owners for leveling and stabilizing.
