This Tavaski replacement matches factory fitments for many GM models from the early 2000s through 2012 and reconnects your vehicle’s exterior lighting to the cabin’s brightness sensing system for hands-free operation.

What does this sensor actually do for my car?

The ambient light sensor detects surrounding light levels and signals your vehicle’s lighting control module to raise or lower headlight output. That keeps headlights off during bright daylight and engaged in low-light conditions without driver input. It also helps prevent overly bright beams that may dazzle other drivers by fine-tuning headlight intensity.

Monitors ambient brightness in real time and sends control signals to headlights.

Automatically toggles headlights based on dusk, tunnels, and shaded environments.

Helps reduce glare for oncoming traffic by modulating beam intensity.

Works with the vehicle’s existing automatic headlight system—no extra modules required.

Which vehicles is the 25713063 sensor compatible with?

This Tavaski sensor covers a broad range of GM cars and trucks—confirm vehicle year, model and plug style before ordering.
