1. Who we are

RedLeaf Auto is an online retailer of car accessories, winter driving gear and tools, selling to customers in Canada. Contact: redleafauto.ca@gmail.com.

2. Prices, taxes and payment

All prices are in Canadian dollars. Applicable GST, HST, PST or QST is calculated at checkout based on the shipping address. Shipping within Canada is free. Payment is taken at the time of order through Shopify’s secure checkout. If a pricing error is discovered before shipping we will contact you and offer the correct price or a full refund.

3. Your order

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send the shipping confirmation. We may decline an order where an item is unavailable, where we cannot verify payment, or where the shipping address is outside Canada; in each case any payment is refunded in full.

4. Product information and fitment

We describe products as accurately as we can, including the vehicles or fitting types they suit. Where a listing names a vehicle and the item does not fit it, we cover the return and refund in full. Where a listing does not name your vehicle, please ask us before ordering; the responsibility for checking fitment otherwise rests with you.

5. Shipping

See our shipping policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; ownership passes when payment is received in full. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs or other events outside our control, but we will always help you track and resolve a delayed order.

6. Returns and cancellation

See our returns and refunds policy. Your rights under the consumer protection legislation of your province or territory are not affected.

7. Safe and legal use

Products must be installed and used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and the laws of your province or territory. Some items, for example off-road lighting, certain window tints or LED bulbs in halogen housings, are not road-legal in all applications; the listing says so where we know it, and it remains your responsibility to ensure a product is legal for your use.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any matter that cannot be limited under Canadian law. Otherwise our liability to you in connection with an order is limited to the price paid for that order. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made.

9. Intellectual property

Text, images and guides on this site are the property of RedLeaf Auto or used with permission and may not be reproduced without consent. Vehicle and brand names belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility.

10. Privacy

See our privacy policy for how we handle personal information under PIPEDA and applicable provincial privacy law.

11. Complaints and disputes

Email us first; most issues are resolved within a business day. If you remain unhappy you may contact your provincial consumer protection office or use the small claims process in your province. These terms are governed by the laws of the province in which you reside and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
