2012 RV Roof Vent Fan 14x14 Quiet 12V Replacement with Remote Control & Rain Sensor, Reversible Airflow

The 2012 RV Roof Vent Fan 14x14 is a low-noise, energy-efficient 12V roof vent replacement that provides reversible airflow, built-in rain sensing, and remote/timer controls for dependable year-round camper ventilation.

Replace or upgrade your camper or motorhome roof vent with a unit designed for quiet performance and weather-safe operation. This 14x14 replacement fan fits standard 356×356mm openings and combines a brushless motor, four-speed settings, reversible intake/exhaust, remote control, and automatic rain protection. Built from weather-resistant ASA and PC materials, it’s engineered to withstand wide temperature ranges and deliver steady ventilation with minimal sound.

How quiet is the fan during regular use?

The fan uses a brushless motor and aerodynamic fan blades to keep noise levels low—rated at or below 25 dB—so it won’t disturb sleep or conversations. Quiet operation makes it suitable for bedrooms, living areas, and overnight trips.

• Brushless motor for reduced mechanical noise and longer life
• Noise rating ≤25 dB in typical settings
• 4-speed control to balance airflow and sound

Can the airflow direction and speed be adjusted easily?

Yes—the fan supports reversible airflow, allowing you to draw fresh air in or exhaust stale air out. A handheld remote provides four distinct speed settings plus timer modes so you can customize ventilation without climbing onto the roof.

• Reversible intake/exhaust for flexible ventilation
• 4-speed settings for fine-grained airflow control
• Remote control for convenient operation from inside the RV

Will it protect my RV during rain or bad weather?

The unit includes a smart rain sensor that automatically closes the lid if precipitation is detected, protecting the interior from water intrusion. The lid design is also engineered for adjustable airflow while minimizing the risk of leaks when closed.

• Automatic lid closure triggered by built-in rain sensor
• Sealed lid and durable housing to resist water penetration
• Adjustable airflow lid design for ventilation even in light weather

Is this fan compatible with my RV and how durable is it?

Designed as a universal replacement for standard 14×14 roof vents (356×356 mm), this fan installs in most campers, trailers, and motorhomes. Its ASA and PC construction tolerates temperatures from −30°C to 100°C, and the brushless motor improves lifespan versus brushed alternatives.

• Fits standard 14x14 (356×356mm) roof openings
• Durable ASA + PC housing for extreme temperature resistance
• Brushless motor promises longer operational life and reliability

Who this is for: Owners of RVs, campers, motorhomes, and trailers who want a quiet, energy-conscious ventilation solution with weather protection and remote convenience. It’s ideal for people replacing an existing 14x14 vent, upgrading to quieter performance, or adding smart rain-sensing closure and timer control. Professional installers and DIYers will appreciate the universal fit, rugged materials, and the included remote and timer functions for customizable comfort on road trips and long-term stays.
