3D ACA 510 Rubbing Compound – 32 oz Fast-Cutting Paint Correction, Low-Dust Silicone-Free Finish

3D ACA 510 Rubbing Compound is a fast-cutting, low-dust paint correction formula that removes P1500 and finer sanding marks while delivering a smooth finish with no follow-up compound needed.

Built for professional detailers and serious DIYers, 3D’s ACA 510 blends Alpha Ceramic Alumina abrasives with a silicone-free, low-dust carrier to cut aggressively yet finish cleanly. The formula was developed to correct clear coat defects—swirls, scratches, and oxidation—without overheating, excess dust, or contamination that can affect repainting and coating steps. Made in the USA, this 32 oz container delivers a reliable balance of power and control for both rotary and dual-action tools with foam or wool pads.

How quickly will ACA 510 remove sanding marks and swirls?

ACA 510 is engineered to remove P1500 grit and finer sanding marks in far fewer passes than conventional compounds. Its Alpha Ceramic Alumina particles cut efficiently, reducing the need for successive aggressive passes that can generate heat.

• Designed to eliminate P1500 and finer marks in most paints
• Cuts fast with fewer tool passes, saving time
• Finishes smooth enough to often remove the need for a second-stage compound

Will this compound work with the tools and pads I already use?

Yes—ACA 510 is versatile across machines and pad types. It performs well on rotary polishers and dual-action (DA) polishers and is compatible with both foam and wool pads, letting you adapt cut level by pad selection and machine speed.

• Suitable for rotary and DA polishers for pro or DIY use
• Works with wool for aggressive cut or foam for controlled correction
• Adjustable cutting by pad choice and rpm to match paint hardness

Is ACA 510 safe for fresh paint and body shop workflows?

Formulated to be body-shop safe, 3D ACA 510 contains no silicone or fillers that can interfere with paint adhesion, clear coat repairs, or subsequent coatings. The low-heat action of Alpha Ceramic Alumina minimizes the risk of burn-through on sensitive clear coats.

• Silicone-free and filler-free for professional environments
• Alpha Ceramic Alumina cuts cooler to reduce heat stress on clear coats
• Low dusting keeps panels and workspaces cleaner for faster handoff

How easy is cleanup and final finishing after using ACA 510?

Cleanup is straightforward because the formula produces minimal dust and reduced splatter compared with high-dust compounds. After correction, the finish is smooth and receptive to finishing polishes, sealants, or ceramic coatings without residue from fillers or silicone.

• Engineered for low dust to simplify wipe-downs and masking cleanup
• Leaves a clean surface ready for polishing, sealing, or coating
• Compatible with standard panel cleaning procedures used in shops

Who is this for? 3D ACA 510 is aimed at professional detailers, collision repair shops, and experienced enthusiasts who need a fast, reliable compound that finishes cleanly. If you demand aggressive correction that won’t leave excessive dust or contamination—and you want to preserve clear coat integrity while saving time—ACA 510 is formulated for that balance. The 32 oz size is convenient for regular shop use or multiple large jobs, and the silicone-free, body-shop-safe formulation integrates into paint-correction and repaint workflows.
