3D SiO2 Ceramic Wash & Wax Car Shampoo — 1 Gallon, pH‑Neutral with Hydrophobic Gloss

3D SiO2 Ceramic Wash & Wax Soap is a pH-neutral car shampoo that cleans, adds a hydrophobic SiO2 layer, and boosts deep gloss in one easy wash.

This concentrated 1-gallon formula combines high-grade silicon dioxide (SiO2) with slick polymers to lift dirt while leaving a water-repellent, glossy finish. Designed as part of 3D’s GLW Series, it provides high suds and slip without stripping existing waxes, sealants, or coatings. Use it for regular maintenance washes to preserve shine and reduce friction that causes swirls and scratches.

How does this wash protect paint while cleaning?

The SiO2 infusion deposits microscopic ceramic particles that bond with the surface during rinsing, forming a temporary hydrophobic layer. At the same time, hyper-glide polymers reduce contact abrasion from wash mitts and towels, helping prevent swirl marks. The product is pH-neutral to avoid breaking down existing protective layers.

• SiO2 ceramic particles for water beading and surface protection.
• Hyper-glide polymers to minimize friction and abrasion.
• pH-neutral formula preserves existing waxes and coatings.
• Concentrated gallon for many maintenance washes.

Will this soap strip my wax or ceramic coating?

No — the formula is balanced to remove dirt and road film without stripping applied protection. Its cleansing agents are strong enough to lift contaminants yet gentle on polymers and sealants. For heavily contaminated paint, a pre-wash or clay may be recommended before using the SiO2 wash for best results.

• Low-foaming agents that clean without aggressive solvent action.
• Safe for use over existing waxes, sealants, and coatings.
• Ideal for routine maintenance washes between deeper detailing sessions.
• Use pre-wash degreaser if heavy tar or tree sap is present.

How do I use the 1-gallon SiO2 wash for best results?

Dilute according to the label—typically a small capful per bucket for standard maintenance, more for heavy grime. Start with a rinse, use the two-bucket method (wash and rinse) and a soft mitt, then rinse and dry with a microfiber towel. For added longevity, avoid washing in direct sunlight and dry promptly to lock in the hydrophobic finish.

• Rinse vehicle first to remove loose debris.
• Use two-bucket method and a microfiber wash mitt for minimal abrasion.
• Rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean microfiber towel.
• Apply in shade and follow dilution guidance on the label.

How long does the hydrophobic effect last after one wash?

The SiO2 layer applied by this wash provides short- to medium-term water repellency and enhanced gloss that eases drying and reduces water spots. Longevity depends on environmental exposure, traffic film, and washing frequency; it’s designed as a maintenance boost rather than a permanent coating. Regular use maintains hydrophobic performance and keeps gloss levels elevated between professional ceramic applications.

• Immediate water beading and easier drying after each wash.
• Effect persists longer with infrequent aggressive exposure to harsh contaminants.
• Best used regularly to maintain a hydrophobic barrier and shine.
• Not intended to replace professional-grade permanent coatings.

Who is this product for? 3D SiO2 Ceramic Wash & Wax Soap suits car owners, DIY detailers, and enthusiast detail shops that want an efficient, maintenance-focused wash that cleans safely while adding hydrophobic protection and gloss. If you prefer fast, repeatable results in your driveway and want to preserve professional sealants or waxes between deeper treatments, this gallon-sized SiO2 wash fits into a regular maintenance routine with pro-level slip and shine.
