A ABIGAIL 14-Tooth Starter Motor for Lawn Tractors — 14.5–20HP Compatible, Copper-Wound Durable Replacement

A ABIGAIL 14-teeth starter motor is a heavy-duty replacement unit built to restart 14.5–20HP small engines used on Cub Cadet, John Deere, Toro, New Holland and similar lawn tractors.

This direct-replacement starter is engineered to match common OEM fitments (including part numbers such as 693551, SBS0029 and 410-22027) and to deliver reliable cranking across a variety of residential mower models. Constructed with a reinforced metal drive and an aluminum-alloy housing, the unit emphasizes corrosion resistance and weather protection while providing increased torque through a high-efficiency copper-wound motor. It’s intended for riders and garden tractors with 14-tooth flywheels and typical 14.5–20HP engines.

Which mower models and engines will this starter work with?

The A ABIGAIL starter is designed to replace factory starters on many popular lawn tractors. It fits models from John Deere, Cub Cadet, Toro, New Holland and similar machines that use a 14-tooth drive and matching mounting pattern.

• Compatible brands: John Deere (D100 series, L100/L105/L110/L115/L125), Cub Cadet, Toro, New Holland.
• Engine range: typical 14.5 to 20 HP gasoline engines with 14-tooth flywheel.
• OEM cross-references: 693551, SBS0029, 410-22027, 410-22051, SE501848 and listed equivalents.

How does this starter improve starting performance?

The unit uses a copper-wound motor and reinforced gear train to produce stronger torque for quicker, more consistent engine starts, especially under load or after extended idle. Improved heat-resistant materials and a robust drive gear extend operational life compared with many standard replacements.

• Copper wire armature for higher electrical efficiency and torque.
• Reinforced gear design to withstand repeated engagement and high-load cranking.
• Aluminum-alloy casing and metal reinforcement for better heat dissipation and durability.

Is this starter suitable for wet or corrosive conditions?

The housing and components are selected to resist moisture and corrosion, helping protect the assembly when exposed to wet grass, rain or outdoor storage. While not submersible, the starter’s construction reduces rust and electrical degradation in normal lawn care environments.

• Aluminum-alloy housing that resists rust and surface corrosion.
• Sealed joints and reinforced metal parts reduce water intrusion risk.
• Designed for outdoor equipment use rather than indoor/appliance environments.

What warranty and service options are included?

A ABIGAIL offers customer support and parts assurance to simplify replacement. The product ships with options for a short return window and a longer replacement coverage period to address defects or fitment issues.

• 30-day free return policy for buyer satisfaction.
• 365-day free replacement warranty against manufacturing faults.
• Customer support available for troubleshooting, fit checks, and warranty claims.

Who is this for: This starter is aimed at homeowners, landscapers and small-property maintenance teams who need a reliable, direct-fit replacement for aged or failed starters on 14.5–20HP lawn tractors. It suits anyone replacing an OEM starter listed in the cross-reference set, or those upgrading from a worn unit to get stronger cranking, better corrosion resistance and longer service life without complex modifications.
