How does this replacement improve my engine air intake performance?

Replacing a cracked or warped airbox restores the correct airflow path and filter seating, which helps maintain predictable engine breathing and prevents debris from bypassing the filter. A properly sealed housing also reduces the risk of water or dirt infiltration into the intake tract.

• Molded construction ensures consistent filter alignment and sealing pressure.
• OEM-style mounting points simplify installation and preserve factory airflow geometry.
• Durable PP+TPO materials resist heat and under-hood chemicals for longevity.

What are the materials, condition, and warranty for this part?

The unit is made from a polypropylene and thermoplastic olefin blend (PP+TPO) and comes in a matte black finish. It ships as a single boxed item in brand-new condition and is intended as a direct replacement for the factory housing. A-Premium backs the product with a one-year unlimited-mileage guarantee.

• Material: Plastic (PP+TPO) for heat and chemical resistance.
• Condition: Brand new, packaged as one boxed housing.
• Warranty: One-year unlimited-mileage guarantee from A-Premium.

How easy is installation and what should I check before buying?

Installation is typically straightforward for a mechanically inclined owner or any professional technician: unclip or unbolt the old airbox, transfer the filter (or fit a new one), and secure the new housing in place. Before purchase, verify the model year and engine displacement of your vehicle to match the listed fitment, and note that this housing is sold without any air strainer components.

• Typical tools: socket set and flat screwdriver for clips/fasteners.
• Check: vehicle year, model, and engine size against listed fitment tables.
• Note: sold as housing only—air filter and strainer may be separate parts.
