A-Premium Front Brake Caliper Assembly Pair for Acura EL / Honda Civic / Insight — Front Left & Right, Steel Piston, Anti-Rust Coa

A-Premium front brake caliper assembly pair replaces both left and right calipers for compatible Acura EL, Honda Civic and Insight models, offering a one-piston steel-piston design with anti-rust coating for long service life.

When you need a direct-fit front caliper replacement that matches common OEM reference numbers, the A-Premium left and right 2-piece set is engineered to meet those expectations. This assembly is designed to fit a range of late-1990s through mid-2010s Acura and Honda vehicles and includes features intended to simplify installation and resist corrosion for extended durability.

Which vehicles will this caliper pair fit?

This A-Premium caliper assembly is compatible with specific Acura EL, Honda Civic, and Honda Insight years and trims. Always verify your vehicle’s year, transmission and ABS configuration before ordering to ensure proper fitment.

• Acura EL: 1997–2000 compatible models
• Honda Civic: 1996–2011 compatible models (confirm trim and submodel)
• Honda Insight: 2010–2014 compatible models
• Confirmations: Matches OEM reference numbers 45019SNAA60, 45018SNAA60 and others listed

What are the key specifications and materials included?

The calipers use a single steel piston per side and standard M10 x 1.0 threaded ports for both the inlet and bleeder. The piston diameter and materials are selected for robust braking force and corrosion resistance under typical road conditions.

• Piston count: 1 piston per caliper
• Piston material: steel for strength and wear resistance
• Piston diameter: 54 mm for expected braking performance
• Inlet and bleeder port size: M10 x 1.0 to match common brake hose and bleed fittings

How does the anti-rust coating and construction affect longevity and maintenance?

The calipers are finished with an anti-corrosion coating that helps delay surface rust and preserve moving components in wet or salted-road environments. While the coating reduces external corrosion, routine inspection and proper brake fluid maintenance remain important for reliable operation.

• Anti-rust coating on external surfaces extends visual and functional life
• Steel piston resists deformation under heat and pressure
• Standard bleeder port supports conventional brake bleeding procedures
• Designed for compatibility with ABS-equipped four-wheel systems if specified

What do I need to know for installation and part verification?

Before installation, verify the OEM reference numbers and confirm whether your Civic is the LX model or another trim that may have different requirements. Professional installation or at minimum mechanical familiarity with brake systems is recommended to ensure safety and proper function.

• Compare reference numbers: 45019S01A00, 45018S01A00, 19-B1832 / 19-B1833 and related codes
• Note compatibility: some 1996 Civic LX models require automatic-transmission-specific parts
• Use correct torque specs for mounting bolts and follow brake-bleeding procedure
• Check ABS sensor and hardware alignment if vehicle is ABS-equipped

Who is this for: This A-Premium front brake caliper assembly set is intended for owners, independent mechanics and professional shops seeking a direct-replacement, cost-effective solution for compatible Acura EL, Honda Civic and Insight vehicles. It is particularly useful for drivers replacing both front calipers at once to restore balanced braking, reduce installation variability, and benefit from a protective coating that helps resist rust from road exposure. If you are unsure about fitment, confirm your vehicle’s model year, OEM part numbers and ABS/ transmission configuration before purchase.
