ACDelco Automatic Transmission Fluid Filter Kit TF337 (25325578) Felt Media OE Fit

This ACDelco Gold transmission filter kit (TF337, also referenced as 25325578) is an aftermarket replacement engineered to meet original-equipment fit, form, and function. It uses felt filter media to trap metal shavings and abrasive particles that build up during normal transmission operation, while maintaining efficient fluid circulation. Backed by General Motors' quality standards, the kit offers a practical, long-lasting solution when servicing automatic transmissions.

How does the TF337 filter kit protect my transmission?

The TF337 captures contaminants that can scratch or wear internal components, preventing particles from recirculating with transmission fluid. By holding debris and allowing clear fluid flow, it reduces the chance of blockages and helps maintain consistent hydraulic function.

• Felt media traps fine metal filings and grit before they re-enter the valve body or torque converter.
• Designed to preserve steady fluid passages for cooling and lubrication.
• Manufactured to meet GM performance specifications for reliable interchangeability.

What vehicles and applications is this ACDelco Gold kit compatible with?

While optimized for General Motors applications, the TF337 fits a broad range of makes and models when the OEM part number or fitment matches. It’s a common choice for technicians and DIYers who need an OE-quality replacement without sourcing a dealer-only item.

• Direct replacement for transmissions calling for ACDelco TF337 or part 25325578.
• Suitable for many GM cars, trucks, and SUVs; check vehicle fitment to confirm compatibility.
• Also used in special and cross-application scenarios where dimensions and connections align.

What are the key features and materials used in this filter kit?

The TF337 employs felt filter media to balance filtration efficiency with unrestricted fluid flow. Parts are produced under strict quality controls to meet or exceed aftermarket standards and ensure consistent performance during service intervals.

• Felt filter media for effective particle capture and fluid throughput.
• Premium aftermarket construction built to match OEM fit and function.
• Manufactured to adhere to rigorous quality requirements and backed by GM.

How should I approach installation and maintenance with this kit?

Installation is straightforward for anyone familiar with transmission servicing: drain the fluid, remove the old pan and filter, replace with the TF337, and refill to the proper level and specification. Regular fluid and filter service intervals depend on your vehicle’s manufacturer recommendations and driving conditions.

• Follow vehicle-specific service manual for torque specs and gasket procedures.
• Always use the correct automatic transmission fluid type and fill level after installation.
• Inspect pan magnets and replace the gasket or hardware as needed for a leak-free seal.
