AICARS leather-wrapped car gear shift knob for Buick Verano 2012-2017 - Black, ABS core, OEM fit

This replacement shift knob combines a leather-wrapped surface with a durable ABS core to provide a lightweight, rust-resistant upgrade that looks cleaner than worn factory knobs. It measures 10.5 x 4.8 cm (4.1 x 1.9 in), installs without special tools, and is shaped to match OEM posts for an easy snap-on fit. The result is improved tactile feedback, a refined cabin touchpoint, and a subtle styling boost for drivers who want a tidy, functional interior update.

Will this knob fit my Buick Verano, Regal, or Opel Insignia?

If your vehicle is listed among the compatible years, the AICARS knob is built to mate with the original shifter post and skirt arrangement. Compatibility includes Buick Verano (2012–2017), Buick Regal (2009–2013), Opel Insignia (2009–2013), and the corresponding Vauxhall models. Before ordering, compare the existing knob’s pull-off skirt and post design to ensure the snap-on installation method matches.

How does the material and construction affect shifting feel?

The core is precision-molded ABS for consistent shape and lightweight strength, while the outer leather cover improves grip and comfort. This combination keeps the knob colorfast and resistant to surface corrosion from moisture or sweat, and the leather provides a softer, more controlled handhold compared with bare plastic. Drivers report a perceptible improvement in shifting smoothness because the knob’s ergonomics and weight distribution are tuned for daily use.

• ABS core: durable, lightweight, and rust-resistant
• Leather cover: improved grip and premium tactile feel
• Balanced dimensions: designed for confident hand placement

How simple is installation and what tools are required?

Installation is intentionally straightforward: pull down the rubber skirt under the original knob and lift firmly to remove the old piece, then align the AICARS knob and press onto the shifter post until it snaps into place. No cutting, threading, or special adapters are required when used on compatible models. If a tight fit occurs, slightly warming the leather with your hands can ease installation; always follow vehicle-specific guidance when available.

• Removal: pull down skirt and lift up to take off the old knob
• Installation: snap the AICARS knob onto the shifter post—no tools needed
• Tip: warming the cover can help on cold installs

Who is this for? The AICARS shift knob is aimed at owners of compatible Buick, Opel, and Vauxhall cars who want a low-cost, high-impact interior refresh. It’s ideal for drivers replacing a worn or cracked factory knob, DIY enthusiasts seeking an easy upgrade, and anyone looking to regain a neater, more comfortable gear-shifting experience without dealer prices.
