Airlab Microfiber Car Towels 16x16in Blue & Grey — 800GSM Plush, Lint-Free Drying and Detailing Cloths

Airlab microfiber towels are plush 16" x 16" car drying and detailing cloths with 800GSM pile that absorb water quickly, leave no lint or streaks, and withstand repeated machine washes.

If you detail your own vehicle, the right towel makes the difference between swirl-free shine and frustrating streaks. These dual-sided Airlab towels combine a very dense 800GSM microfiber with reinforced edges and a compact size that fits the hand. They’re designed for drying, polishing, buffing, waxing, and general cleanup on cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats and other surfaces that need a soft, highly absorbent cloth.

How quickly and how much liquid will these towels absorb?

The thick 800GSM pile soaks up water in seconds and holds a surprising amount relative to its size. The dense microfiber fibers trap moisture rather than pushing it around, which speeds drying and reduces the number of towel passes.

• 800 grams per square meter pile for rapid water pickup
• 16" x 16" size balances coverage with maneuverability
• Dual-sided plush surface increases effective absorbency
• Dries faster than cotton due to microfiber capillary action

Will these towels leave lint, streaks or scratches on paint?

Airlab towels are manufactured to be non-abrasive and lint-free, making them suitable for delicate automotive finishes. The smooth, dense microfiber lifts dirt and liquid away without depositing fibers or causing visible streaks when used correctly.

• Non-abrasive microfiber minimizes risk of micro-scratches
• Lint-free weave prevents leftover fibers on paint or glass
• Excellent for final wipe-downs, polishing, and waxing removal
• Use gentle technique and clean towels for best results

How durable are Airlab towels and how do you care for them?

These towels are built with reinforced stitched edges and high-quality construction for hundreds of uses. Routine machine washing preserves performance—avoid fabric softeners, bleach, and high-heat drying to maintain absorbency and microfiber structure.

• Reinforced edges resist fraying through many wash cycles
• Machine washable; no fabric softener or bleach
• Tumble dry low or air dry to protect fibers and absorbency
• Wash separately or with other microfiber products to avoid lint transfer

What tasks around the vehicle are these towels best for?

Because of their size and high absorbency, these towels are versatile for many detailing steps: from initial drying after a wash to final buffing of wax or polish. They’re portable enough for quick touch-ups and large enough to make drying efficient.

• Post-wash drying to prevent water spots
• Removing wax and polish residues for a streak-free finish
• Quick interior cleaning: dusting dashboards and upholstery touch-ups
• Safe use on glass, chrome, paint and delicate trim when clean

Who is this for: These Airlab 16" x 16" microfiber towels suit hobbyist detailers, car owners who wash at home, professional detailers needing extra buffing cloths, and anyone who wants a reusable, high-absorbency towel for vehicles and maintenance tasks. They’re especially helpful if you want a compact towel that packs strong drying power without leaving lint, and they work equally well on motorcycles, boats, and household polishing jobs.
