Akfix A115 Engine Cleaner & Degreaser Spray — 2-Pack 16.9 oz, Citrus Scented, Silicone-Free Oil & Grease Remover

Akfix A115 Engine Cleaner and Degreaser is a fast-acting citrus-scented spray that lifts oil, grease and road grime from car, motorcycle and small-engine components for a visibly cleaner finish.

If you work on vehicles, maintain power equipment, or simply want a safer way to clean engine bays, Akfix A115 delivers a concentrated spray that penetrates oily deposits and loosens stubborn dirt without leaving silicone residues. Formulated for automotive and machine engines, this degreaser is designed to reach tight spots, rinse off readily, and leave a fresh citrus scent so your engine compartment looks and smells cleaner after use.

How quickly does Akfix A115 break down oil and grease?

The formula acts on contact to dissolve and lift fresh and baked-on oils; visible results typically appear after a single application. Heavier deposits may need a short dwell time and repeat spraying, followed by mechanical agitation or rinsing.

• Spray from 6–8 inches for best coverage
• Allow penetration time for heavy grease
• Repeat for stubborn buildup and agitate if needed
• Wipes or rinses off cleanly for a glossy surface

Is this safe for different engine types and surfaces?

Akfix A115 is formulated to work on car, motorcycle and small-engine parts such as lawnmowers; it is silicone-free to reduce the risk of interfering with seals or paint. As with any concentrated cleaner, test on an inconspicuous area first and avoid application on hot surfaces or sensitive electrical components left exposed.

• Suitable for automotive, motorcycle, and small engines
• Silicone-free for broader surface compatibility
• Not recommended on hot parts or exposed electronics without protection
• Always patch-test painted or delicate finishes first

How do I apply Akfix A115 for best results?

Application is straightforward: shake the can, spray the contaminated area from the recommended distance, let the solvent work, then wipe or rinse away loosened grime. For heavy contamination, multiple passes and a brush will speed removal and produce a brighter finish.

• Shake can well before use
• Spray from 6–8 inches, cover area evenly
• Allow dwell time, then wipe or rinse thoroughly
• Repeat or brush for hardened deposits
