Alpicool 10-Quart Portable 12V/24V Car Refrigerator – Compact Lightweight, Fast-Freezing Compressor

The Alpicool 10-quart portable refrigerator is a lightweight 12V/24V DC and 110–240V AC cooler that rapidly chills or freezes food and drinks for road trips, RVs, trucks, and outdoor adventures.

This compact electric cooler combines a robust inverter compressor with multi-voltage compatibility to deliver fast, ice-free cooling in a small footprint. At just around 14 lb (6.4 kg), it fits easily into trunks, camper storage, or the back seat and is sized to hold about a dozen 12 oz cans or eleven 16.9 oz water bottles. Designed for travel, tailgates, and small living spaces, the unit emphasizes low noise, energy efficiency, and battery protection features so you can run it from a vehicle or home outlet without surprises.

How quickly does the Alpicool car fridge cool and freeze?

The upgraded inverter compressor provides brisk temperature drops: it typically lowers interior temperature from room temperature to near refrigerator temps in minutes and can reach freezing levels within an hour. This performance makes it much faster than passive or thermo-electric coolers.

• From 77°F to 32°F in about 15 minutes under ideal conditions.
• Can reach around -4°F within approximately 60 minutes for frozen storage.
• Compressor-based cooling keeps temperature stable versus ice-based solutions.
• Fast recovery after door openings to maintain food safety on the go.

Will this fridge run from my car, RV, or home outlet?

Yes — the Alpicool mini fridge accepts 12V and 24V DC inputs from vehicle cigarette lighter sockets and includes an AC adapter for 110–240V mains. It also incorporates an over-discharge protection to avoid draining a vehicle battery when used on the road.

• Includes a 2.5 m car power cable for convenient in-vehicle placement.
• AC adapter supports international voltages (100–240V) for home use.
• Built-in battery protection helps prevent deep discharge of vehicle batteries.
• Switching between DC and AC is straightforward for multi-environment use.

How portable and quiet is this 10-quart cooler for travel?

The unit is engineered to be easy to carry and unobtrusive: at roughly 6.4 kg it’s light enough for quick loading, and its operation is intentionally quiet so it won’t disturb sleeping passengers or campsite neighbors.

• Compact size fits small vehicle spaces and compact living areas.
• Holds up to 12 cans (12 fl oz) or 11 bottles (16.9 fl oz) without excess bulk.
• Noise level controlled around 45 dB — comparable to a quiet room.
• Handle and low weight make it easier to move than traditional coolers.

What should I know about energy use and care?

The Alpicool fridge focuses on energy efficiency and simple upkeep: ECO mode lowers average consumption, and routine precautions like avoiding direct sunlight will keep the door and seals from warping. Its compressor-based cooling is more energy-efficient than many Peltier-based products for sustained use.

• Designed to consume about 0.35 Wh per day in ECO mode on average.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent door deformation.
• Regularly clean interior with mild detergent and dry to maintain performance.
• Allow airflow around vents when running to ensure efficient heat exchange.

Who is this for: Travelers, weekend campers, truck drivers, van lifers, small households, and anyone who needs a compact, quick-cooling fridge/freezer that plugs into a vehicle or home outlet. It suits users who value portability, low noise, and fast refrigeration without the bulk of a full-size fridge. Ideal for single-person trips, small families on short excursions, dorm rooms, or as a secondary cooler for beverages and perishables on longer journeys.
