Altyostar RV Screen Door Protector for Dogs — Adjustable 22"–31.5" Black Aluminum, Scratch-Resistant

Altyostar's adjustable aluminum RV screen door protector creates a sturdy, scratch-resistant barrier that shields your RV entry while allowing airflow and visibility for pets.

Whether you park for a weekend getaway or live on the road, screen doors are a common weak point when pets are eager to look out or scratch. This Altyostar pet protector is engineered to fit a wide range of RV doors, installs quickly with included hardware, and uses a high-grade aluminum alloy to resist damage from large or active dogs. The slim black profile keeps your RV exterior tidy without blocking light or disrupting the door's function.

How does this protector adjust to different RV doors?

The unit telescopes to match varying door widths, giving a snug, secure fit across common RV entry sizes. Adjustment is tool-friendly and locks in place to prevent slipping during travel.

• Expands from 22" to 31.5" to cover most RV entry openings.
• Simple sliding mechanism for quick custom sizing.
• Mounting holes align to standard door frames for stability.

Will it withstand a large dog's scratching or nudging?

Built from high-grade aluminum alloy, the protector is designed to absorb repeated pawing and scratching without denting or tearing like fabric screens. The rigid construction spreads impact and keeps the original screen intact.

• Durable metal resists claws and concentrated pressure.
• Patented profile minimizes leverage points for persistent pets.
• Black finish resists visible wear and matches RV trim.

Is installation difficult or do I need extra parts?

Installation is straightforward thanks to a pre-assembled design and included screws. Most owners can complete fitting with a basic screwdriver in a few minutes without extra parts.

• Pre-assembled frame reduces alignment steps.
• All necessary screws included in the package.
• Instructions geared for a single-person quick mount.

Does the guard affect airflow, visibility, or door operation?

The slim, low-profile frame protects the screen while preserving ventilation and outward visibility for pets. It installs without blocking the door's opening, closing, or latch mechanisms when fitted correctly.

• Open design maintains airflow and sightlines.
• Compatible with typical RV door swing and locks.
• Black color blends into door frames for a discreet look.

Who is this protector best for? If you travel with medium to large dogs or have pets that paw at doors, the Altyostar RV Screen Door Protector offers a practical, long-lasting solution to prevent screen damage and costly repairs. It's ideal for full-time RVers, weekend adventurers, and owners who prefer a low-profile, metal barrier that installs quickly and adapts to different door sizes.
