AMAKE 7-Way to 2-Pin SAE Power Adapter — 2 ft Cable, Waterproof Dust Cover, Tinned Copper

AMAKE's 2 ft 7-way to 2-pin SAE adapter delivers 12V accessory power from a vehicle's 7-way trailer socket to SAE-powered devices without battery tapping. This compact, plug-and-play adapter converts a standard 7-pin RV/trailer plug into a 2-pin SAE power outlet so you can run coolers, air compressors, lights and other 12V accessories directly from the tow vehicle. Built with PVC-coated nylon jacketed wiring and tinned copper conductors, the cable resists corrosion and keeps a steady current while remaining flexible in outdoor conditions. The adapter's molded plug housing includes dual grip hooks and a waterproof SAE dust cover to simplify connections and protect contacts when not in use.

How does this adapter let me power 12V accessories from my trailer socket?

The AMAKE adapter routes the vehicle's 12V feed available on the 7-way connector to a 2-pin SAE female outlet, creating a safe, convenient point to plug in SAE-powered devices. It eliminates the need to run separate battery leads or open the vehicle hood for temporary accessory power.

• Converts 7-way trailer power to standard 2-pin SAE 12V output
• Works with SAE coolers, pumps, air compressors and lighting
• Plug-and-play — no splicing or extra wiring required

Is the cable weatherproof and durable for camping or marine use?

Yes — the adapter uses a PVC nylon outer jacket and tinned pure copper conductors to resist moisture, oxidation and corrosion during outdoor use. The included waterproof SAE cover keeps the outlet dry when the adapter is not connected.

• PVC nylon jacket protects against abrasion and UV exposure
• Tinned copper conductors for low resistance and corrosion resistance
• Rubberized dust cover prevents water and dirt ingress

How easy is it to install and store the adapter?

Installation is straightforward — insert the 7-way plug into the vehicle connector and snap the SAE device into the female end. The 2 ft (approximately 60 cm) length gives a tidy connection without excessive slack, and molded grip hooks make handling simple even with gloves on.

• Simple plug-and-play design — no tools or wiring required
• Two molded side hooks for secure grip when inserting or removing
• Compact 2 ft length for clean, manageable cable routing

What devices are compatible and when should I use this adapter?

The adapter is intended for low-voltage 12V SAE devices that draw power from a vehicle or trailer power circuit. It’s ideal for short-term or portable accessory use rather than permanent hardwiring; always confirm device amperage and vehicle circuit rating before use.

• Compatible with SAE-powered coolers, pumps, air compressors, lights and fans
• Great for camping, RV setups, tailgating, marine accessories and emergency power
• Not a substitute for heavy-duty battery charging or high-current wiring

Who is this for? This AMAKE 7-way to 2-pin SAE adapter is aimed at tow vehicle owners, RV and boat enthusiasts, and outdoor hobbyists who need a quick, reliable way to power 12V accessories from a trailer outlet. If you want a corrosion-resistant, easy-to-handle cable that avoids battery tapping and simplifies accessory hookups while camping, tailgating or working on the road, this adapter provides a practical, portable solution.

FAQ

Q: Will this adapter power my 12V fridge from my trailer socket?

A: Yes for most portable 12V fridges, provided the fridge's current draw does not exceed the vehicle's 7-way circuit capacity. Check appliance amps and vehicle fuse ratings first.

Q: Is the SAE cover fully waterproof?

A: The rubber cover protects contacts from rain and dust when closed, but avoid submerging the connector for prolonged periods.
