AMM 12-Piece Hook and Pick Tool Set — Telescoping Magnetic Pickup with LED, Chrome Vanadium Picks for Electronics & Automotive

This AMM toolkit organizes essential precision hooks and picks plus a telescoping magnetic retrieval tool in one set designed for electronics maintenance, automotive work and general repairs. Built from chrome vanadium steel and finished for corrosion resistance, the collection stacks small, nimble shafts for delicate jobs with longer picks for deeper access. The telescoping magnet extends reach and adds LED illumination to find and pull metal parts from dark, confined areas.

What pieces are included and how long are the tools?

The set contains 12 tools tailored for detail work and mechanical tasks. Five small picks with 3.5" grips handle tight electronics and hose work; four larger 4" grip automotive picks cover general repairs; plus a flat shovel, a staple remover and an extendable magnetic pickup finish the kit.

• Small hooks: 3" shafted hose hook, straight, 45°, 90°, 135° picks with 3.5" grips
• Large picks: 6" shaft straight, 45°, 90°, 135° picks with 4" grips
• Flat shovel and staple remover for prying and pulling staples
• Telescoping magnetic pickup: extends from 7" to 30" with LED illumination

How durable are the picks and what finishes do they have?

Each hook and pick is forged from chrome vanadium steel, a material chosen for strength and resistance to bending under torque. The tools are treated with either chrome plating or a blackened finish to slow rust and extend service life when used in workshop or automotive environments.

• Chrome vanadium steel construction for high tensile strength
• Chrome-plated and blackened finishes for corrosion resistance
• Extended shafts to reach deep or recessed fasteners and clips

How does the telescoping magnetic pickup help during repairs?

The telescoping magnetic tool lengthens access into confined or dark areas and its magnetic tip retrieves loose metal parts without disassembly. The built-in LED improves visibility when fishing out bolts, screws or jewelry from engine bays, vents or behind equipment.

• Extends from 7" to 30" to reach deep cavities
• Magnetic tip lifts nuts, screws and dropped metal objects
• Integrated illumination for low-light retrieval tasks

What grips and ergonomics make these picks easy to use?

Ergonomic handles reduce hand fatigue during repetitive work and provide secure control when prying or picking small components. The extended handle lengths improve leverage and allow you to access narrow gaps that fingers cannot, making delicate extractions more efficient.

• Contoured grip handles sized to the tool — 3.5" for small picks, 4" for larger picks
• Extended shaft lengths for deeper reach without strain
• Staple remover and flat shovel add leverage for separating materials

Who is this for: This AMM 12-piece set is aimed at mechanics, electricians, electronics technicians, maintenance professionals and DIYers who need dependable precision hooks, picks and a reliable magnetic retriever. It suits anyone working on automotive repairs, hose and wire separation, small-part retrieval in appliances or on-site maintenance where corrosion-resistant tools and extended reach are required.
