Amooca Tailgate Pad for Mountain Bikes — 3-Bike Waterproof Pickup Tailgate Protection, Heavy-Duty

The Amooca Tailgate Pad is a heavy-duty, waterproof protector that secures up to three mountain bikes and shields your pickup tailgate from dents, scratches, and wet gear.

Designed for cyclists who haul bikes in the back of pickup trucks, this tailgate pad combines 600D Oxford face fabric, internal padding, and a two-layer waterproof insert to keep both bikes and truck surfaces safe. It installs quickly with three adjustable woven straps and includes integrated storage and reflective accents for nighttime visibility. The central flip cover gives easy access to the tailgate latch without interfering with a reversing camera.

How does the Amooca pad protect my truck and bikes during transport?

The pad layers cushioning and water resistance to prevent scratches, dings, and moisture damage to the tailgate while keeping bikes secured in place. Thick padding absorbs knocks; durable face fabric stands up to abrasion and grime.

• 600D Oxford face fabric resists tears and scuffs
• Padding embedded across the pad to reduce impact on the tailgate
• Two-layer waterproof cloth insert deflects rain and mud
• Top fixing straps secure each bike to prevent shifting

Will this fit my pickup truck and different bike setups?

The Amooca pad uses lengthened, adjustable woven straps to suit small trucks through full-size pickups, and the layout accommodates up to three bikes. The straps and webbing give enough flexibility for a range of bike widths and frame types.

• Three adjustable straps for universal pickup fit
• Holds up to three bicycles securely
• Top fixing straps help stabilize individual bikes
• Large central opening provides tailgate latch access

How easy is installation and everyday use?

Installation is straightforward: drape the pad, loop the woven straps, and clip or tighten. A 12.4" x 5.7" flip cover in the center keeps the latch accessible so you can open the tailgate without removing the pad.

• Quick setup with three adjustable woven straps
• Flip cover keeps tailgate latch reachable while mounted
• Noninvasive design avoids blocking reversing cameras
• Tool bags attach to the pad for organized gear storage

What practical extras does the pad include for riders?

Beyond basic protection, the Amooca pad adds two tool bags for on-the-road storage and reflective stripes for improved visibility after dark. These extras help make transport more organized and safer during sunrise or night driving.

• Two sewn-in tool bags for tools, pumps, and small parts
• Reflective stripes enhance nighttime visibility
• Durable materials designed for repeated outdoor use
• Low-maintenance: wipes clean and resists water absorption

Who is this for? The Amooca Tailgate Pad is ideal for mountain bikers, gravel riders, and weekend adventurers who regularly transport bikes on a pickup truck. It suits owners who want a fast-install, rugged solution that protects their truck’s finish, keeps bikes stable, and adds simple storage without complicated racks or permanent modifications. If you need weather resistance, easy access to your tailgate latch, and room for up to three bikes, this pad is built for that job.
