Aokdom Oil Filter Socket Set, 7-Piece 3/8" Drive, Aluminum Alloy, 24-38mm

The Aokdom 7-piece oil filter socket set is a compact aluminum-alloy kit with 3/8" drive ports and seven common metric sizes (24, 27, 29, 30, 32, 36, 38 mm) for fast, damage-free oil filter removal and installation.

If you change oil at home or maintain multiple vehicles, having the correct socket on hand saves time and prevents marring filter housings. This kit bundles seven widely used sizes in a tidy storage box and uses a 3/8" square-drive interface so each socket plugs straight onto standard ratchets, torque wrenches and extension bars. Lightweight but stiff aluminum alloy construction balances durability with portability for easier work under tight engine bays.

Which vehicles will these sockets fit?

The 7 sockets cover sizes found on many European, American and Asian models. Aokdom lists compatibility ranges for major marques — BMW, Volkswagen, Ford, Chevrolet, Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai, Jeep and others — so you can match the socket size to the factory oil filter cap or cartridge.

• Seven metric sizes suited to common OEM filter housings (24–38 mm).
• Compatibility notes include many BMW, VW, Audi, Ford, Chevrolet and Mercedes models.
• Useful for both cartridge-type filters and spin-on housings with hex-style caps.

How do I use these sockets for quick oil-filter changes?

Each socket accepts a 3/8" square drive so you simply place the correct-sized socket over the filter cap, attach your ratchet or extension and rotate. The internal six-tooth engagement reduces slipping and helps you remove stuck caps without damaging surrounding components.

• Match socket size to filter cap stamping or measure across flats.
• Attach to a 3/8" ratchet, possibly with an extension for tight clearances.
• Use steady torque and a breaker if the cap is seized; replace the filter and reinstall.

What are the build and storage advantages of this set?

Aokdom uses an aluminum alloy for each socket to keep weight down while maintaining torsional strength under normal service loads. The set ships in a labeled storage tray so each sleeve stays organized and easy to find in a toolbox or trunk.

• Aluminum alloy bodies resist deformation and are lightweight to carry.
• Size markings on each socket surface reduce selection errors during service.
• Compact storage box keeps the 7 sockets secure and transportable between jobs.
