AOKIO Gear Shift Panel Frame Cover Trim for 2015–2023 Ford Mustang — Carbon-Fiber Pattern ABS, Peel-and-Stick

AOKIO's gear shift panel frame cover is a carbon-fiber-pattern ABS trim piece made to update the center console of automatic 2015–2023 Ford Mustangs without altering the factory hardware.

This trim replacement snaps the look of a sportier, more refined interior into place quickly and without permanent modification. Designed for automatic-transmission Mustangs from model years 2015 through 2023, the piece is a single-panel, adhesive-backed cover that overlays the factory gear shift surround with a textured carbon-fiber pattern. It’s lightweight, durable, and intended to give the cabin a sharper, more custom appearance while preserving all existing controls and switches.

How will this trim change the look of my Mustang's center console?

The trim adds a carbon-fiber-style texture and visual contrast to the gear shift area, creating a sleeker, sport-inspired focal point. It replaces the plain stock surround with a patterned ABS-plastic cover that reflects light differently and complements darker interiors.

• Carbon-fiber pattern finish for a tuned aesthetic
• Matte-to-satin texture that reduces glare
• Single-piece design keeps lines clean and factory-like

Is installation difficult and will it damage my console?

Installation is straightforward and uses pre-applied adhesive tape to avoid drilling or tools. If you prepare the surface by cleaning and slightly warming the tape for better grip, the cover adheres firmly without harming the original panel when removed carefully.

• Peel-and-stick backing—no special tools required
• Recommend wiping the original panel clean before applying
• Use gentle heat on the tape for stronger initial adhesion

Will this part fit my Mustang model year and transmission?

This cover is made to fit automatic transmission Ford Mustangs from 2015 through 2023 only; it is not compatible with manual-transmission models and not designed for 2024 and later redesigns. Always compare your existing gear shift surround shape with photos or measurements before purchase.

• Compatible: 2015–2023 Ford Mustang with automatic transmission
• Not compatible: manual-transmission Mustangs or 2024+ redesigned consoles
• Sold as one individual cover per package

What is the material and how durable is the finish?

The trim is molded from ABS plastic and stamped with a carbon-fiber pattern—an economical, lightweight choice that resists everyday wear and UV exposure better than some painted stickers. It imitates the look of woven carbon fiber without the cost or fragility of real composite panels.

• Material: ABS plastic with carbon-fiber-style finish (not real carbon fiber)
• Durability: scratch- and fade-resistant surface for typical interior use
• Maintenance: wipe clean with a mild cloth and non-abrasive cleaner

Who this is for: This AOKIO gear shift panel frame cover is ideal for Mustang owners who want a subtle but sporty interior upgrade without permanent modification—especially those with automatic transmissions from 2015 to 2023. It's suited to buyers looking for a cost-effective aesthetic refresh, DIY-friendly installation, and a finish that pairs well with dark or performance-themed cabin trims.
