AUCLIDIS 12" Gas Strut Lift Support Set of 2 — 24lb (107N) 10mm Ball Socket Replacement for Camper Shells and Truck Toppers

AUCLIDIS 12-inch gas strut set (24lb / 107N) is a pair of replacement lift supports engineered to open and hold camper shell, truck topper, canopy doors, and toolbox lids safely and smoothly.

If a worn or weak lift support leaves your truck topper, camper shell door, or toolbox lid slamming or unable to stay open, this AUCLIDIS set of two gas struts offers a direct-fit replacement option. Designed to match common OEM interchange numbers including C16-03795, C16-28848, and C1633273, these 12.20" extended / 8.66" compressed struts use 10mm nylon ball sockets for simple, bolt-on installation and a reliable 24lb (107N) push force.

How will these gas struts restore my camper shell or truck topper?

Replacing sagging or failed lift supports with this AUCLIDIS pair brings back controlled, smooth opening and secure holding of doors and lids. The matched 24lb force gives consistent resistance so the panel stays open at various angles and closes gently.

• Exact ball-center lengths: 12.20" extended, 8.66" compressed
• 10mm nylon ball socket on both shaft and body for common mounting studs
• 24lb / 107N force suitable for many camper shells, toppers and toolboxes
• Sold as a set of two for symmetric replacement

Will these struts fit my vehicle or toolbox model?

These struts are intended as replacement parts for many camper shells, truck toppers, Snugtop-style caps, and tool boxes that use similar OEM lift supports. Confirm fitment by matching the original part number stamped on your old strut or by checking the ball-center lengths and socket size.

• Interchange numbers: C16-28848, C16-33273, C1633273, C16-03795, SG459002 and more
• Measure ball-center length and compare to 12.20" extended / 8.66" compressed
• Verify 10mm nylon ball socket mounting studs on your vehicle

How difficult is installation and what hardware is required?

Installation is typically straightforward: remove the worn strut from its nylon ball sockets and snap the replacement onto the existing mounting studs. No special tools are needed for most installs, though a flat screwdriver or small pry tool helps to release old sockets; ensure the mounting studs are compatible with 10mm nylon ball sockets.

• Snap-on nylon ball sockets for fast, tool-light replacement
• Keep original mounting studs if they match 10mm sockets
• Use common hand tools only if studs are corroded or stuck
