AUTOOL Universal Inflatable Intake Adapter — 121 mm Silicone Seal, High‑Temp Tear‑Resistant for Smoke Leak Testing

AUTOOL's Universal Easy Intake Adapter is an inflatable silicone airbag that seals vehicle intake and exhaust openings to speed up smoke-based leak diagnostics on 12V systems.

Designed for workshop technicians and DIY mechanics, this adapter slips into ducts, expands to form a tight seal, and lets you pass smoke or pressurized air through EVAP and intake systems to locate leaks quickly. Built from high-temperature, tear-resistant silicone and engineered without a bulky steel ring, the adapter expands to fit openings over 2" and pairs with standard hand pumps or smoke generators.

How does the Easy Intake Adapter simplify finding leaks in intake and exhaust systems?

The inflatable bladder plugs openings, isolates the test area, and channels diagnostic smoke or pressure through the system so technicians can see or detect escaping fumes. Its soft silicone conforms to irregular shapes, reducing the need for custom fixtures.

• Inflates to a maximum diameter of 121 mm for tight sealing
• Wall thickness 1.5 mm for durability and controlled expansion
• Removable steel ring design allows easier insertion and smaller fittings
• Compatible with standard hand pumps and smoke testers

What vehicle types and duct shapes will this adapter work with?

The adapter accommodates round, oval, square, rectangular, and awkward-angle ducts commonly found across passenger cars, light trucks, and heavy vehicles. As long as the opening exceeds 2 inches, the inflatable bladder can conform and seal to create a controlled test section.

• 100% compatible with car and truck intake/exhaust ports over 2"
• Suitable for EVAP systems, turbo inlet pipes, and muffler/test ports
• Works on both small passenger vehicles and heavy-duty trucks
• Useful for hard-to-reach or irregular-shaped openings

How durable and safe is the material for repeated shop use?

The adapter uses high-quality silicone chosen for elasticity, tear resistance, and high-temperature tolerance so it withstands repeated inflation and exposure to fumes. Multiple simulated tests ensure consistent performance under typical diagnostic pressures.

• High-temperature resistant silicone prevents premature failure
• Good elasticity and tear resistance for repeated use
• Engineered sealing properties to minimize false positives
• Tested for reliable expansion and leak detection accuracy

What comes with the adapter and what support does AUTOOL provide?

The adapter functions as an inflatable accessory that pairs with your existing hand pump or smoke tester; no steel ring is attached so smaller fittings can be used easily. AUTOOL offers three years warranty coverage against non‑human defects and ongoing support for product questions or replacements.

• Inflatable silicone intake/exhaust adapter ready to use with 12V smoke testers
• Works with hand pumps to inflate and isolate the duct section
• Three-year warranty for manufacturing defects and lifetime maintenance support
• Customer service response commonly within 24 hours

Who this is for: The AUTOOL Universal Easy Intake Adapter is ideal for automotive technicians, service shops, and advanced DIYers who perform EVAP, intake, and exhaust leak diagnostics and want a faster, more adaptable sealing method. If you need a reusable, conforming plug for irregular or large-diameter ducts and want to cut down diagnostic time while using existing smoke testers or hand pumps, this adapter is a practical addition to your toolset.
