Battery Tender Quick Disconnect USB Charger Adapter - 2.1A 12V SAE for Motorcycle, ATV & Camping

The Battery Tender Quick Disconnect USB Charger Adapter converts a 12V battery connection into a convenient 2.1A USB outlet for charging phones, tablets, GPS units, and other USB devices on the go.

Whether you're riding a motorcycle, driving an ATV, taking a golf cart to the course, or camping off-grid, this compact adapter gives you reliable USB power from any 12V battery using the SAE quick-disconnect standard. Built for frequent outdoor use, the adapter pairs with a Battery Tender ring terminal accessory cable (sold separately) to provide a secure, weather-resistant charge point without modifying your vehicle's wiring.

How does the adapter keep my devices charged when I'm away from shore power?

The adapter plugs into a 12V SAE quick-disconnect connection on your battery setup and delivers up to 2.1 amps of USB charging output, enough for phones, navigation units, and many small tablets. Its simple plug-and-play design means you can tap vehicle or battery power instantly without splicing wires or using bulky inverters.

• 2.1A USB output suitable for smartphones and smaller tablets
• SAE quick-disconnect input for fast, tool-free connection
• Works with 12V batteries on motorcycles, ATVs, golf carts, and more

Will it withstand dusty, wet, or rough outdoor conditions?

The adapter includes a protective USB cover to block dust, dirt, and debris when not in use, preserving clean contact surfaces for dependable charging. The compact housing and SAE connector are made to tolerate the vibration and movement common to powersports and outdoor gear, though it should be stored under shelter when exposed to heavy rain or prolonged immersion.

• Protective cap keeps USB port clean in dirty environments
• Durable construction resists vibration from off-road use
• Designed for outdoor gear — avoid full water submersion

How easy is installation and compatibility with my vehicle?

Installation is straightforward: attach the Battery Tender ring terminal accessory cable to your 12V battery terminals (if not already present), then plug in the SAE quick-disconnect adapter. No soldering or permanent alterations required, and the adapter is compatible with most 12V systems that use standard SAE quick-connects.

• Plug-and-play with SAE quick-disconnect sockets
• Works on most 12V batteries when paired with the proper ring terminal cable
• Leaves factory wiring untouched for easy removal or transfer

What charging performance and safety features should I expect?

The adapter supplies a steady 2.1A charging current, balancing reasonable charging speed and compatibility with a wide range of devices. While it provides a secure connection and clean power transfer, it relies on your battery's condition; use a properly charged, healthy 12V battery and the recommended Battery Tender accessories for best results.

• 2.1A output for dependable device charging
• Secure SAE connection minimizes accidental disconnects
• Lifetime customer support from Battery Tender for setup help
