BDFHYK Iridium Spark Plugs 6-Pack — Direct-Fit Replacement for OE 3199 / BKR6EQUP, Long-Life Performance

BDFHYK 6-pack iridium spark plugs are high-performance replacement plugs designed to match OE numbers 3199, 12120037607 and BKR6EQUP for select Porsche, BMW and Cadillac engines.

These BDFHYK iridium plugs are built to deliver more reliable ignition, longer life and improved combustion consistency compared with standard copper plugs. Made with fine iridium center electrodes, a copper core for heat control and a high-strength ceramic insulator, this set is intended as a direct-fit replacement for compatible vehicle applications when the OE number and model year align. Before buying, verify your vehicle’s year, make, model and the original equipment (OE) part number to ensure compatibility.

Which vehicles will these spark plugs fit?

These spark plugs are offered to fit a range of European and American vehicles when the OE numbers match. Compatibility covers specific years and engine families for Porsche, BMW and Cadillac; always confirm against your owner’s manual or the OE reference.

• Porsche: 911 (2001–2002 & 2005), Boxster (2001–2004)
• Cadillac: CTS (2003–2004)
• BMW: broad coverage including 3, 5, X and Z series across late 1990s–2006 model years (examples: 325i, 330i, 528i, X3, X5, Z3, Z4)
• OE numbers to check: 3199, 12120037607, 12129071003, 12120141871 and BKR6EQUP

How do these iridium plugs improve ignition and durability?

Iridium’s hardness and conductivity let the center electrode be much finer than traditional materials, concentrating spark energy to improve ignitability and throttle response. The copper core improves heat conduction away from the electrode, helping the plug operate within optimal temperature ranges and extending service life compared with ordinary plugs.

• Fine iridium center electrode for focused, reliable sparks
• Copper core for faster heat dissipation and thermal stability
• Isostatically pressed ceramic insulator for high strength and insulation
• Estimated service life around 40,000–60,000 km under normal driving

What should I check before purchasing these replacement plugs?

Confirming fitment before purchase prevents returns and ensures correct operation. Match your vehicle’s year, engine type and original OE part number against the list provided; if you’re unsure, consult the vehicle service manual or a dealer parts department.

• Verify OE numbers: 3199, 12120037607, 12129071003, 12120141871, BKR6EQUP
• Cross-reference your car’s VIN or engine code if possible
• Compare plug thread size and reach with the vehicle specification
• Contact BDFHYK support if fitment questions remain

How should these plugs be installed and maintained?

Installation should follow the vehicle manufacturer’s torque and gap specifications; improper torque or incorrect gap can impair performance. For best results, use a torque wrench and check the spark plug gap before installation; replace boots and ignition components as recommended by your service schedule.

• Set and verify spark gap per vehicle spec before fitting
• Tighten to manufacturer torque values — avoid over-torque
• Inspect ignition coils and leads when replacing plugs
• Monitor performance and replace at recommended intervals

Who is this product for? The BDFHYK 6-pack iridium spark plugs are aimed at owners and technicians of compatible Porsche, BMW and Cadillac models seeking a long-lasting, direct-fit replacement that improves ignition consistency and resists wear. If you need a plug matched to the listed OE numbers and want longer service life than standard plugs, this set is appropriate. If your vehicle does not match the listed models or OE numbers, select a plug specified for your engine to ensure safe, reliable operation.
