BestCosy Portable Cordless Fuel Transfer Pump — Battery Powered, 2.4 GPM, 47" Hose

The BestCosy Portable Cordless Fuel Transfer Pump is a battery‑powered electric siphon that moves gasoline, diesel, water, and light oils at 2.4 GPM without mains power.

This compact, lightweight pump is designed for on‑the‑go refueling and emergency transfers where AC power isn't available. It runs on two D‑cell or six AA batteries (not included) and pairs a high‑torque impeller with a 47‑inch discharge hose to deliver a reliable flow for cans, jerry cans, pails and barrels. Built from corrosion‑resistant, food‑grade components and featuring an adjustable nozzle, the unit balances durability with precise, drip‑free filling.

How quickly will this pump refill a container?

The BestCosy pump delivers about 2.4 gallons per minute, so it fills a typical 5‑gallon gas can in roughly two minutes. Flow consistency lets you predict transfer times and plan jobs without surprise delays.

• Average flow: 2.4 GPM (gallons per minute).
• 5‑gallon can: ~2 minutes; 20‑gallon drum: ~8–9 minutes.
• 47" discharge tube reaches into deep containers and barrels.

What power source does it need and how long does a battery set last?

This model is cordless and uses two D‑cell batteries or a set of six AA batteries, giving you flexible power options in the field. With fresh batteries under normal use, the pump can transfer over 1,000 gallons before replacement is typically needed, depending on battery type and duty cycle.

• Battery types: 2× D‑cell or 6× AA (not included).
• Battery life: transfers over 1,000 gallons on fresh batteries in typical conditions.
• Use fresh batteries and avoid prolonged dry runs for best longevity.

Which liquids and container types are compatible with the pump?

The pump is intended for non‑corrosive liquids: gasoline, diesel, water and light oils. Its 16‑inch suction tube fits standard gas cans, jerry cans, pails and 55‑gallon barrels, making it versatile for RVers, farmers, workshop users and outdoor enthusiasts.

• Compatible liquids: gasoline, diesel, water, light non‑corrosive oils.
• Suction tube: 16" length for 3–5 gallon cans and pails.
• Also works for fluid extraction and emergency water transfer.

How do I control flow and avoid spills?

An integrated adjustable nozzle lets you set a steady flow rate or lock the nozzle for a drip‑proof finish, so you can fill small tanks and power tools without wasting fuel. The nozzle design reduces splashing and improves accuracy compared with manual pouring.

• Adjustable nozzle for precise flow control.
• Nozzle lock provides leak‑free, drip‑proof transfer.
• Stable suction and hose length reduce splashes and overfills.
