BG 44K Platinum fuel system additive — 2-can pack cleans GDI injectors, reduces carbon

BG 44K Platinum is a concentrated fuel system additive that cleans modern gasoline direct-injection (GDI) systems, restores injector flow, and reduces deposit-related drivability issues.

Designed for today’s smaller, high-pressure gasoline engines, BG 44K Platinum is a next-generation tank additive from BG. It targets stubborn carbon and varnish deposits throughout the fuel and combustion systems—areas that are increasingly difficult to service as direct-injection technology becomes more common. Sold as a two-can pack, the formula is engineered to cling to fuel-system surfaces so cleaning continues over time and miles.

How does BG 44K Platinum improve engine performance?

By dissolving deposits where they restrict airflow, fuel spray, and combustion, BG 44K Platinum helps engines run closer to their designed standards. That can translate to smoother idling, steadier acceleration, and more consistent power delivery.

• Restores fuel injector flow for proper spray patterns and fuel atomization
• Removes combustion chamber and valve deposits that hinder intake and compression
• Helps reduce engine knock and unstable idle related to deposit buildup

Where in the vehicle does this additive work?

The product is formulated to circulate through the entire gasoline fuel system and reach combustion areas. It addresses both upstream components and parts exposed after combustion, offering broad coverage across modern fuel systems.

• Clears deposits from injectors, intake ports, and intake manifolds
• Removes carbon on intake valves and in combustion chambers
• Reduces deposits on oxygen sensors and aids catalytic converter cleanliness

When should I use BG 44K Platinum and how often?

Use the additive when you notice reduced fuel economy, rough idle, hesitation under load, or after long intervals between fuel system services. Because the formula continues to work in the tank, periodic treatments can help maintain cleaner surfaces and more consistent performance.

• Ideal for vehicles showing drivability changes or reduced MPG
• Recommended for modern GDI and boosted engines that accumulate carbon faster
• Can be added at scheduled maintenance intervals to sustain cleaner operation

Is BG 44K Platinum compatible with my vehicle?

BG 44K Platinum is formulated for gasoline-fueled systems, including direct-injection and port-injection engines. Always follow manufacturer guidance and vehicle service recommendations when adding any chemical to the fuel system.

• Suitable for most gasoline engines, especially GDI and smaller turbocharged units
• Mixes with ordinary gasoline when added to the tank using the recommended dose
• Not intended as a replacement for mechanical repairs or scheduled services

Who is this for: BG 44K Platinum (2 cans) is intended for professional technicians and vehicle owners who service modern gasoline engines—particularly those with direct injection or turbocharged setups—who want a concentrated, long-acting tank additive to address deposit-related performance loss. It’s suited for preventative maintenance programs and targeted treatments when symptoms point to fuel-system and combustion deposits. Note: This product may contain chemicals listed by certain jurisdictions as hazardous; follow label instructions and safety guidance during handling.
