BIGACOVER Jeep CJ5 Car Cover 1955–1983 — 210D Oxford with Cotton Lining, PU Waterproof & Windproof Fit

BIGACOVER's Jeep CJ5 car cover is a purpose-built, all-weather protective cover sized to fit 1955–1983 CJ5 models, made from 210D Oxford cloth with a cotton lining and PU waterproof coating.

This heavy-duty cover is engineered for classic Jeep owners who want a dependable shield from sun, rain, snow, bird droppings and dust while preserving paint and trim. The fabric blend and reinforced features focus on durability, paint-safe contact and staying secure in wind. It’s tailored to CJ5 dimensions (138.2" L × 68.5" W × 68.9" H) and includes handy details like mirror pockets, a driver-side zipper and multiple reflective strips for low-light visibility.

How will this cover protect my CJ5 from weather and environmental damage?

The material combination — 210D Oxford outer, cotton inner, and a PU waterproof finish — blocks water penetration, reduces UV exposure and cushions the surface to prevent scratches. It protects finishes from rain, snow accumulation, pollen and bird droppings without rough synthetic contact against paint.

• PU-coated 210D Oxford resists water and light abrasion.
• Cotton interior minimizes friction and paint marring.
• Black coated layer offers additional UV and heat resistance.
• Full-coverage fit reduces dust and debris buildup in crevices.

Will the cover stay on in windy conditions and how is it secured?

BIGACOVER built several windproof features so the cover remains anchored during gusts: four wheel straps, a central windproof buckle, elastic hems at front and rear and extra-long straps for hood and rear tie-down. These attachments channel force away from the cover edges and help prevent flapping and blow-offs.

• Four adjustable straps anchor to each wheel for balanced hold.
• Central anti-lift buckle runs under the vehicle for extra security.
• Elasticated front and rear hems contour to the bumper and tail.
• Two long hood/rear straps give added reinforcement in storms.

What practical features make daily use easier—storage, access and visibility?

The cover includes user-friendly touches to make storage and access convenient: a driver-side zipper that allows entry without full removal, mirror pockets to prevent abrasion and a compact storage bag for tidy stowing when not in use. Reflective strips increase visibility at night, reducing the chance of accidental collisions in dimly lit areas.

• Cab-side zipper provides quick driver access while covered.
• Dedicated mirror pockets protect mirrors and maintain fit.
• Four reflective strips (two vertical, two on ears) enhance night visibility.
• Included storage bag keeps the cover compact for transport.

Is this cover a custom fit for my CJ5 and what size should I expect?

This cover is cut to fit Jeep CJ5 models built between 1955 and 1983, with overall dimensions 138.2 inches long, 68.5 inches wide and 68.9 inches high. The tailored shape, elastic hems and mirror pockets produce a snug profile across typical CJ5 bodylines, while tie-downs allow fine-tuned tensioning for variations in trim or aftermarket additions.

• Designed specifically for Jeep CJ5 (1955–1983) proportions.
• Dimensions: 138.2" L × 68.5" W × 68.9" H for full coverage.
• Elastic hems help accommodate small size differences or accessories.
• Adjustable straps available for tightening around bumpers/wheels.
