BUFFZIT Surface Prep Spray — 5 fl oz Automotive Paint Prep Degreaser for Ceramic Coating, Removes Wax & Oil

BUFFZIT Surface Prep Spray is a concentrated automotive paint-prep cleaner that strips wax, oil, silicone and residue to leave a ready-to-coat surface.

Whether you’re installing ceramic coating, applying paint, or prepping vinyl, a contaminant-free surface is essential for consistent adhesion and a smooth finish. This 5 fl oz degreaser spray is formulated to remove common detailing residues—wax, polish oils, silicone, road grime—while remaining non-corrosive on exterior auto surfaces. It’s designed for fast evaporation and minimal residue so sealants and coatings bond more evenly.

How quickly does BUFFZIT remove wax, oils, and silicone?

The spray dissolves and lifts waxes, oils, and light silicone films on contact, making them easy to wipe away without aggressive abrasion. For most contamination levels the surface can be clean within minutes when used with a microfiber towel.

• Fast-acting solvent blend that breaks down common residues on contact
• Requires light agitation with a clean microfiber for best results
• Evaporates quickly to reduce the chance of re-contamination

Will this cleaner hurt paint, trim, or glass?

BUFFZIT is formulated to be non-corrosive and safe for painted surfaces, clear coats, glass, metal, and exterior trim when used as directed. Avoid prolonged dwell time and always test an inconspicuous area first on delicate or aged finishes.

• Non-corrosive formula suitable for multiple exterior surfaces
• Safe for clear coat and painted panels with proper use
• Not intended for long-term immersion or unseen substrate exposure

How should I use this spray for ceramic coating or paint prep?

Work one panel at a time: spray a light mist, wipe with a clean microfiber to remove contaminants, then re-wipe with a dry towel to confirm no residue remains. For heavier contamination repeat the application until the surface appears uniformly clean.

• Shake bottle, spray 6–8 inches from panel, wipe with a plush microfiber
• Use a fresh towel for the final pass to ensure a residue-free surface
• For edges and crevices, use targeted sprays and a soft brush if needed

What results can I expect after using this degreaser?

After cleaning, coatings, waxes, and wraps should lay down more uniformly and bond better due to the absence of oils and film. Users often notice improved gloss clarity and longer-lasting adhesion from subsequent protective layers.

• Cleaner substrate for improved coating adhesion and uniform application
• Reduced risk of defects like fisheyeing or bonding failures
• Enhanced final gloss and consistency of sealants and ceramic products

Who is this for: BUFFZIT Surface Prep Spray is intended for professional detailers, paint technicians, body shops, and car enthusiasts who demand a compact, effective cleaner for final surface preparation. It’s also handy for small jobs, spot repairs, and vinyl wrap installations where removing oils and wax is critical. Always follow label instructions and test on sensitive or previously damaged surfaces before full application.
