Burn Jacket BurnJacket Pro motorcycle exhaust heat shield calf sleeve, 13.5–18" fit — dual-layer breathable protection

BurnJacket Pro is a dual-layer, ventilated calf heat shield that protects legs from motorcycle exhaust-pipe heat while remaining comfortable enough for long rides.

Riders who spend time on cruisers, ATVs, or dirt bikes need targeted protection from hot exhaust pipes and mufflers. The BurnJacket Pro wraps around the calf with a breathable honeycomb outer, a durable inner heat-resistant layer, and a flexible fit that accommodates calves roughly 13.5 to 18 inches in circumference. Built to be worn under pants or with shorts, the sleeve balances protection, airflow, and a low-profile look so you can ride without worrying about scalds or uncomfortable heat transfer.

How does the BurnJacket Pro keep my leg safe near the exhaust?

The Pro model uses two protective layers that reduce direct heat transfer and shield skin from accidental contact. The inner barrier resists high temperatures while the outer honeycomb pattern disperses heat and permits airflow.

• Dual-layer construction for thermal separation from hot surfaces
• Honeycomb outer texture to promote cooling airflow
• Soft inner material to prevent friction and irritation
• Wrap design reduces the chance of metal-to-skin contact

Will the size fit my calf and stay in place while riding?

BurnJacket Pro is designed with stretch and a contoured shape so it adapts to a wide range of calf sizes—comfortable on standing calves 13.5–18 inches across and approximately 7.5 inches tall. Elastic edges and the sleeve’s form hold it in position during normal riding movements.

• Fits most adult calf widths in the 13.5–18" range
• 7.5" sleeve height covers the vulnerable area above common exhaust points
• Stretch fabric and contoured fit reduce slippage
• Low profile fits under pants or with shorts for flexible use

Can I wear the BurnJacket Pro in different weather and for recovery?

The materials are sweat- and water-resistant and engineered for breathability, so the sleeve performs in warm, cool, or damp conditions. Its soft interior also provides gentle coverage for existing burn areas while they heal, without trapping excessive heat.

• Water- and sweat-resistant outer layer for durability
• Breathable honeycomb design helps moisture escape
• Soft inner face to protect sensitive skin during recovery
• Lightweight enough for multi-season use

How does BurnJacket Pro fit into my motorcycle gear setup?

Designed as an accessory that integrates with typical riding apparel, the Pro model slips on under riding pants, pairs with shorts, or layers with knee guards and boots. It’s compact enough to pack with other accessories but robust enough for daily use.

• Works under riding pants or alone with shorts
• Compatible with knee guards, boots, and casual riding gear
• Compact design for easy storage in saddlebags or backpack
• Unisex fit suitable for most riders

Who is this for? Motorcyclists, ATV riders, and dirtbike enthusiasts who want added protection against exhaust heat—especially those who ride cruisers or bikes with low-mounted mufflers—will appreciate the BurnJacket Pro. It’s also a practical choice for riders recovering from minor burns who need a breathable, cushioning barrier while they continue to ride. If you value a slim, vented heat shield that fits most adult calves and works with existing gear, the BurnJacket Pro is made to provide targeted coverage without bulk.
