Cali Raised LED Tailgate Theft Protector for 2024+ Toyota Tacoma — Stainless Steel, Bolt-On Security

Cali Raised LED’s Tailgate Theft Protector is a stainless-steel, bolt-on anti-theft lock made in the USA to secure the tailgate of 2024 and newer Toyota Tacomas without modification.

Tailgate theft is an increasing problem for modern truck owners, and this protector offers a straightforward security upgrade tailored to the 2024+ Toyota Tacoma. CNC laser-cut in Fort Worth, Texas, from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, the unit mounts quickly using the factory tailgate action and includes tamper-resistant hardware so the tailgate still opens and closes like stock.

How does the protector attach to a 2024+ Tacoma tailgate?

Installation is designed to be fast and reversible: the protector mounts using the included bracketry and hardware, with no cutting or drilling required. It aligns to the Tacoma’s factory points so the tailgate maintains normal operation.

• Installs in under 10 minutes with a single socket wrench
• All mounting bolts, specialty security screw, and custom install bit included
• No permanent modification — fully reversible removal
• Engineered to align with factory tailgate pivot and latch geometry

What materials and construction protect against weather and tampering?

The protector is precision-cut from stainless steel and finished to resist rust and road salt, extending durability in harsh climates. Tamper resistance comes from a specialized security screw and a unique installation bit that deters casual theft attempts.

• CNC laser-cut stainless steel body for tight tolerances
• Weather-resistant finish suitable for year-round exposure
• Custom security screw and bit to slow or prevent unauthorized removal
• Solid construction that resists prying and blunt-force attacks

Will this change how the tailgate opens, or interfere with accessories?

No. The protector is engineered to preserve the factory tailgate function so you can open and close it exactly as before. It’s compatible with the standard tailgate action; however, confirm fit with any aftermarket tailgate electronics or unique accessories.

• Maintains normal tailgate swing and latch engagement
• Designed specifically for 2024+ Toyota Tacoma dimensions
• Works with common accessories, but check clearance for specialty add-ons
• Reversible design allows easy removal for service or aftermarket changes

Why choose a USA-made tailgate protector over generic options?

Domestic manufacturing allows tighter quality control, quicker support, and materials chosen for local road and weather conditions. This unit is made in Fort Worth, Texas, giving the buyer a defender built to real-world U.S. truck use.

• Made in the USA with traceable manufacturing standards
• Precision fabrication reduces fitment issues common with generic parts
• Customer support and replacement hardware availability are easier
• Durable parts sourced and finished for North American climates

Who is this for? This tailgate theft protector is for Toyota Tacoma owners (model year 2024 and later) who want a quick, durable, and reversible way to secure their tailgate without altering factory operation. It’s ideal for daily drivers, outdoor enthusiasts, fleet vehicles, and anyone who values a locally made security upgrade that installs in minutes and withstands weather and road conditions.
