CALPOSE 2-Stage RV Regulator with 18" Stainless-Braided Pigtails — Dual-Tank Changeover & In-Line Gauges

CALPOSE 2-stage regulator with twin 18" stainless-braided RV pigtails and in-line gauges lets you run two propane cylinders and switch between them while monitoring tank pressure.

Designed for motorhomes, travel trailers and campers with dual propane tanks, this CALPOSE kit combines a durable two-stage changeover regulator with two 18-inch stainless braided RV tailpipe hoses that include gauges and a QCC1 fitting. Built from solid brass and certified fittings, the assembly aims to provide steady gas flow, visible tank status, and a simple rotary selector so you can choose the active cylinder. The kit ships with installation tape and a wrench, plus a two-year satisfaction guarantee and customer support.

How does the two-stage changeover work for dual tank setups?

The regulator automatically meters pressure in two stages: a primary line for active use and a reserve line that takes over when the primary is low. A manual rotary selector also lets you choose which cylinder to draw from, and an indicator changes color when a tank needs filling. That combination gives you predictable performance and clear refill alerts without complex plumbing changes.

• Primary/output capacities: 210,000 BTU/hr primary, 130,000 BTU/hr reserve
• Rotary selector for manual tank choice
• Color-changing low-level indicator for refill alerts
• Replaces automatic changeover regulators while keeping steady flow

What fittings and materials are included, and are they compatible with my RV?

All pressure-exposed parts are made from solid brass and quality-certified fittings for corrosion resistance and long life. Inlets use a 1/4" SAE inverted flare to match common RV tank fittings, and the regulator outlet is a 3/8" female NPT. The hoses are stainless-steel braided with a 1/4" male inverted flare and QCC1 connection for reliable sealing.

• 1/4" SAE inverted flare inlets, 3/8" female NPT outlet
• Two 18" stainless-braided pigtails with gauges and QCC1 fittings
• Solid brass regulator body and fittings for durability
• Included sealing tape and wrench for installation

How do the included gauges and indicator help maintain safe propane use?

Each pigtail hose features an in-line gauge so you can see tank pressure at a glance and plan refills before you run out. The regulator’s color-changing indicator gives an easy visual cue when the active tank drops to low. Together they reduce guesswork and let you manage fuel for cooking, heating, or appliances more predictably.

• In-line gauges on both hoses for per-tank pressure readings
• Visual green-to-red indicator flags low tank condition
• Keeps a constant supply by switching to reserve when needed
• Simple viewing without moving tanks or checking gauge stacks

Who is this for? This CALPOSE regulator and hose set is aimed at RV owners, camper enthusiasts and travel trailer users who need a dependable dual-tank propane solution. It fits vehicles using refillable 5–40 lb propane cylinders and works as an upgrade or replacement for existing automatic changeover regulators.
