Calvana Car Body Filler 2-Pack 20g - Quick-Dry Automotive Putty with Sanding Tools

Calvana's 2-pack 20g car body filler kit is a fast-drying automotive putty set designed to fill small dents, scratches, and rust pits so you can restore surface smoothness before touch-up painting.

Small blemishes on painted panels look worse than they are—often a quick, well-prepared repair is all that’s needed to bring a vehicle back to neat, paint-ready condition. This compact kit includes two 20g tubes of repair putty plus sanding tools and gloves, giving you what you need for multiple minor repairs without a full-bodyshop visit. The formula sands easily and levels to a uniform surface so paint adheres properly, while the included accessories simplify prep and finishing.

How fast does the Calvana putty cure and become ready for sanding?

The fast-dry formulation is formulated for quick set times so you can move from filling to sanding in minimal time. Drying speed depends on patch thickness and ambient temperature, but small repairs are typically sandable within a short window.

• Quick-dry compound minimizes wait time before sanding.
• Thin, even layers cure faster and produce better results.
• Suitable for several small spots per tube—use conservative amounts.
• Ideal for a same-day touch-up workflow in moderate conditions.

What types of damage can this filler effectively address?

This putty is formulated to fill shallow dents, surface scratches, pits from rust, and small gouges prior to painting. It’s intended for minor cosmetic repairs rather than structural bodywork or large deformations.

• Works on shallow dents and scrapes on painted panels.
• Fills small rust pits after cleaning the corroded area.
• Smooths over chips and uneven spots to create a paint-ready surface.
• Not designed for deep structural repairs or welded seams.

How do I use the kit to get a smooth, paintable finish?

Clean and dry the area, remove loose rust or paint, then apply the putty in thin passes using the applicator. Once cured, sand progressively with the included papers until the surface is even; finish with fine sanding before applying primer and paint.

• Prepare: remove loose material and degrease the area.
• Apply: push putty into the defect and level with the applicator.
• Sanding: start with coarser grit and finish with finer grit for paint adhesion.
• Finish: prime and paint after the surface is uniform and dust-free.

What comes in the Calvana repair kit and how many repairs will it cover?

The kit includes two 20g tubes of automotive putty, four sandpaper sheets in useful grits, one applicator, and one pair of protective gloves. Coverage depends on damage size; one tube can fill many small scratches or several tiny chips rather than large-scale bodywork.

• Two 20g putty tubes for multiple touch-ups.
• Four sandpaper pieces to take you from shaping to finishing.
• Applicator for smooth, controlled application.
• Gloves protect hands during mixing and sanding.
