Camco Tastepure RV Inline Water Filter 2-Pack — GAC + KDF Wide-Body, 20-Micron Sediment

Camco Tastepure RV Water Filter 2-pack are inline hose filters that attach to standard water hookups to reduce chlorine, sediment, taste and odor for cleaner campsite drinking water.

Take cleaner, better-tasting water on the road without bulky equipment. These compact Camco Tastepure filters use a multi-stage media stack—granular activated carbon (GAC) and KDF—inside a wide-body housing to preserve flow while trapping sediment and reducing contaminants commonly found at outdoor hose connections. Each pack includes two filters so you can outfit an RV, marine vessel, or separate hoses for different tasks.

How does the Tastepure filter improve water flavor and odor?

The Tastepure design pairs GAC filtration with KDF media to target chlorine, unpleasant tastes and odors that often make camp water undrinkable. The carbon adsorbs organic compounds and scent-causing molecules while KDF helps control certain metals and biological buildup inside the filter housing. Together they deliver noticeably better-tasting water without resorting to bottled supplies.

• GAC layer reduces chlorine and organic taste compounds
• KDF media helps limit metal ions and microbial growth between uses
• 20-micron sediment stage captures sand and visible particles
• Wide-body construction maintains strong water flow for filling and drinking

Will these filters fit my RV or garden hose hookups?

Yes — Camco Tastepure filters are designed for simple inline installation between a standard garden/drinking water hose and the supply connection. Quick-thread fittings match common hose sizes, so you can switch the filter between the city water spigot, campground pedestal or onboard hose as needed. No special adapters are usually required for typical RV and marine setups.

• Standard hose-thread compatible for most outdoor hookups
• Lightweight, compact housing for easy storage
• Quick to install or remove for seasonal use
• Two filters in the pack let you dedicate one to potable use and one for other tasks

How durable is the filter and what maintenance does it need?

The Tastepure filter is built with a robust wide-body housing and tested materials to withstand outdoor use. The internal 20-micron sediment screen protects the media from large particles, and the GAC/KDF cartridges are designed for typical RV water pressures. Maintenance is minimal: replace the cartridge according to usage or when flow diminishes significantly.

• Wide-body housing resists cracking and handles standard pressures
• 20-micron sediment protection extends cartridge life
• Replace cartridge when reduced flow or detectable taste returns
• Made in the USA with certified lead-free materials

What practical uses are these filters good for while camping?

Beyond drinking, the filters are useful for any situation where better water quality matters: cooking, making ice, washing produce, giving pets fresh water, or rinsing gear without imparting chlorine taste. Their high-flow design keeps water delivery convenient for everyday RV life without a slow trickle at the spigot.

• Improved drinking and cooking water at campsites and marinas
• Pet bowls, ice makers, and food prep with reduced taste/odor
• Rinsing and detailing when clearer tap water is preferred
• Use one filter for potable water and one for secondary tasks

Who this is for: campers, RVers and boat owners who want an affordable, easy-to-install inline solution for better-tasting, lower-odor water at outdoor hookups. The two-pack suits families or dual-hose setups and works well for anyone seeking a portable filtration step without reconfiguring plumbing. If you need certified, lead-free materials and a compact filter that preserves flow while improving taste, the Camco Tastepure RV Water Filter 2-pack is a practical choice.
