caqeg’s 14" universal RV roof vent is a ready-to-install white-lid vent kit with a reversible 12V fan and 6" blades designed for camper trailers, motorhomes, and caravans.

This vent kit fits a 14" x 14" roof opening and works with roof thicknesses from 1-1/4" to 2-1/4". It combines a weather-resistant lid, inner garnish ring, and a two-wire reversible 12V fan to move air in or out of the vehicle whether parked or driving. The package includes the vent frame, interior trim, screws, printed instructions, and uses butyl tape for a secure mounting of the fan assembly.

How do I know this vent will fit my RV roof?

The caqeg 14" vent is intended for a 14" square rough opening and accommodates roof decks between 1-1/4" and 2-1/4" thick. Measure your current vent opening and roof thickness before ordering for a correct fit. Installation uses pre-drilled corner-hole alignment and butyl tape to seal the fan unit.

• Fits 14" x 14" roof openings
• Compatible with roof thickness 1-1/4"–2-1/4"
• Uses corner screw alignment and printed instructions
• Butyl tape secures the 12V fan housing; screws secure the frame

What are the ventilation and weather protection features?

The vent lid is shaped and sealed to keep rain out while allowing airflow. The included 6" reversible fan can exhaust or draw in fresh air, and the lid design supports ventilation even when closed. This reduces stale odors and helps interior humidity control without leaving the RV exposed to weather.

• White weather-resistant lid prevents water intrusion
• Reversible 12V fan with 6" blades for intake or exhaust
• Operable while driving, parked, or with lid closed
• Improves interior air circulation and reduces odors

How difficult is installation and what’s included in the kit?

Installation is straightforward for anyone comfortable with basic RV maintenance and simple wiring. The kit arrives with the outer vent frame, inner garnish ring (white trim), mounting screws, printed step-by-step instructions, and a two-wire fan connection. The fan mounts with butyl tape so you do not need fan-bolting screws to secure the fan housing.

• Two-wire 12V reversible fan connection
• Interior trim (garnish ring) and mounting screws included
• Printed installation guide supplied
• Fan housing sealed with butyl tape—no fan screws required

Can I run the fan in different conditions like rain or while driving?

Yes—the fan is designed to operate with the lid closed, so you can keep airflow when it’s raining or when the vehicle is in motion. The reversible fan function lets you choose between exhausting warm, humid air or drawing fresh outside air into the cabin. Running the fan helps maintain a more comfortable interior environment during travel and stays effective in wet weather.

• Runs while driving or when parked in wet weather
• Lid-closed airflow capability for rain protection
• Reversible operation for intake or exhaust modes
• 12V motor integrates with typical RV power systems
