CarGuys Tire Shine Spray — 18 oz Deep Black Tire Dressing Kit with Applicator, No-Sling Fast-Drying Protection

CarGuys Tire Shine Spray is a no-sling, fast-drying tire dressing that delivers a deep black, long-lasting shine while protecting tires from UV fading and premature aging.

Bring professional-looking tires to your vehicle with a product built for easy application and consistent results. This 18 oz kit from CarGuys includes an applicator pad and a polymer-infused formula designed to hydrate rubber, resist sling, and dry to the touch for a clean finish. It is mixed and bottled in the USA and formulated to give you control over the final sheen—from satin to high gloss—without greasy residue.

How quickly does it dry and will it sling on the bodywork?

The CarGuys formula dries rapidly to a touchable finish so you can drive away sooner without worrying about transfer onto wheel wells or body paint. Its low-sling characteristics reduce flinging even hours after application, especially when used sparingly and applied correctly.

• Dries to touch in minutes under normal temperatures.
• Polymer blend minimizes sling and runoff during driving.
• Apply thin, even coats for best anti-sling performance.

What kind of shine and protection can I expect?

You can achieve anything from a subtle satin to a deep wet-look gloss depending on how generously you apply the spray and whether you buff after application. Beyond appearance, the dressing replenishes rubber oils and adds a protective barrier that helps resist UV-related fading and cracking over time.

• Adjustable finish—satin with light application, high gloss with fuller coats.
• Hydrates rubber to prevent drying and premature aging.
• Polymer additives help extend the time between reapplications.

How should I apply CarGuys Tire Shine for the best results?

Start with clean, cool tires free of old dressings and brake dust. Use the included applicator pad to spray directly onto the pad or lightly mist the tire, then spread evenly; buff lightly for a more natural sheen or leave as-is for high gloss.

• Wash and dry tires thoroughly before dressing.
• Spray onto applicator pad, not directly onto painted surfaces.
• Work in sections and allow drying time between coats.

Is this product safe for other exterior rubber or plastic trim?

While formulated primarily for tires, the non-greasy, polymer-based formula can be used sparingly on exterior rubber and certain trim pieces to restore a uniform appearance. Test a small, inconspicuous area first to confirm desired look and compatibility.

• Suitable for sidewall rubber and some plastic trim with a test spot.
• Avoid interior fabrics and painted surfaces to prevent staining.
• Use light applications on trim to avoid overly glossy mismatches.
