CAT BigGrip Steering Wheel Cover X-Large 17.5–18" Faux Leather Anti-Slip

CAT BigGrip faux black leather steering wheel cover is an extra-large, anti-slip cover that upgrades comfort, control, and temperature protection for 17.5"–18" semi truck and RV wheels.

Built by the CAT brand known for durable industrial gear, this BigGrip steering wheel cover brings faux leather styling with a focus on long-haul usability. It combines a soft, ergonomic surface with an internal rubber retention ring and double-stitched seams so the cover stays in place during long routes, sharp turns, and frequent use. The material also insulates hands from heat and cold, making it a practical upgrade for truckers and RV owners who face varying climates.

How does the BigGrip cover improve driving comfort?

The cover adds a cushioned, ergonomic surface that reduces hand fatigue over extended drives while offering a firmer, more consistent grip than a bare steering wheel. Its faux leather finish feels like real leather without the extra care requirements, and the padding evens out pressure points on your palms.

• Soft, padded faux leather for reduced hand strain
• Ergonomic profile improves hold on long hauls
• Double-stitched seams hold shape under repeated use

Will this fit my semi truck, RV, or 18-wheeler steering wheel?

This X-Large model is made specifically for 17.5"–18" diameter wheels commonly found in semi trucks, tractor trailers, RVs, and other large commercial vehicles. Measure your wheel across the diameter to confirm fit; the elasticized interior and rubber retention ring are designed to create a snug, secure installation when sized correctly.

• Fits wheels 17.5"–18" in diameter (measure before buying)
• Internal rubber ring prevents slipping and shifting
• Easy slip-on installation—no tools required

How does it handle extreme temperatures and daily wear?

The faux leather surface and insulated backing help keep the wheel comfortable to the touch in hot or cold weather, reducing the need for gloves or lengthy cooldown times. The material resists cracking, dirt, and oils from hands, and the reinforced stitching adds wear resistance for frequent, heavy-duty use.

• Insulating layer moderates surface temperature
• Resists dirt, oil, and UV-related wear with routine wiping
• Reinforced seams for greater durability in commercial settings

Is installation and maintenance difficult for truckers on the road?

Installation is a straightforward slip-on process that most drivers can complete in minutes without tools. Cleaning is low-effort—simple wiping with a damp cloth removes road grime and restores appearance, so you can maintain a professional cabin quickly between stops.

• Slip-on design for quick installation during breaks
• Wipe-clean faux leather—no conditioners needed
• Airbag-safe construction for most large-vehicle wheels
