Celebrity Machines BAN ONE Vanity License Plate — Smokey and the Bandit Replica, Stamped Aluminum

Recreated from the 1977 Smokey and the Bandit's Trans Am, the Celebrity Machines BAN ONE stamped aluminum plate is a collectible vanity tag made in the USA and shrink-wrapped for protection.

This decorative Georgia-style license plate reproduces the iconic BAN ONE used by Burt Reynolds’ Trans Am in the 1977 film Smokey and the Bandit. Each piece is brand new, embossed on durable aluminum, pre-drilled for hanging, and individually shrink-wrapped to preserve its finish. Designed as a novelty sign rather than a road-legal plate, it’s built to be shown off in garages, man caves, offices, bars, or car-show displays where film history and automotive nostalgia meet.

What makes this BAN ONE plate an authentic-looking film prop replica?

The plate is embossed on aluminum to mimic the texture and dimensionality of a real license plate and uses the same visual layout as the movie example. Attention to scale, font styling, and color balance delivers that unmistakable on-screen look without using original vintage materials.

• Embossed aluminum construction for authentic tactile feel
• Movie-accurate lettering and layout reflecting the 1977 design
• Pre-drilled holes positioned for standard mounting or display
• Individually shrink-wrapped to protect the finish during shipping

How durable is this decorative metal tag for indoor or outdoor display?

Made from corrosion-resistant stamped aluminum, the plate is crafted to withstand typical indoor use and light outdoor exposure. While the finish resists rust and fading, it’s recommended to avoid constant direct weather elements if you want to preserve showroom condition indefinitely.

• Stamped aluminum resists corrosion compared with thin plastics
• Shrink-wrapping keeps the surface pristine until installation
• Suitable for wall hanging, display racks, or vehicle-themed decor
• For long-term outdoor use, consider a sheltered placement

How can I display the BAN ONE plate at home or at an event?

The plate arrives ready to mount with pre-drilled holes so you can hang it directly on walls, pegboards, or vehicle-themed frames. It’s compact and lightweight, making it easy to position on shelves, attach to display boards at car shows, or include in framed memorabilia arrangements.

• Pre-drilled holes for screws, zip ties, or hooks
• Lightweight for easy shelf or wall mounting without heavy supports
• Works well inside frames or as part of a curated display wall
• Great as a conversation-starting piece at events and shows

What should buyers expect in terms of packaging and provenance?

Celebrity Machines produces each plate in Indianapolis and ships it individually shrink-wrapped to keep the surface free from scratches and dings. The listing is for a brand-new collectible reproduction, made for display and not intended to replace an official state registration plate on a registered vehicle.

• Proudly made in the USA by Celebrity Machines
• Individually shrink-wrapped for protection in transit
• Packaged to minimize bending or damage to embossed details
• Sold as a collectible/novelty decorative plate, not road legal
