The Cenipar Trailer Hitch Lock is a bright yellow, keyless combination coupler lock engineered to secure 1-7/8", 2" and 2-5/16" trailer couplers with heavy-duty steel construction and adjustable ratchet fit.

Whether you're parking a boat, RV, utility trailer or camper, this universal hitch lock from Cenipar offers a visible theft deterrent and a convenient key-free combination. Built from reinforced steel with anti-corrosion coating and waterproof internal components, the lock resists harsh weather and tampering while the four-digit code eliminates the need for physical keys. The bright yellow finish increases visibility so your trailer stands out as protected, and an 11-position adjustable ratchet ensures a snug fit for common coupler sizes.

How does this hitch lock fit different coupler sizes?

The Cenipar lock was designed for broad compatibility: it accepts 1-7/8", 2" and 2-5/16" tow ball couplers by varying the ratchet position. The ratchet mechanism offers multiple locking positions so you can tighten the lock to match the internal diameter of your coupler for a secure, rattle-free hold.

• Fits standard 1-7/8", 2" and 2-5/16" couplers without adapters.
• 11 locking positions let you dial in a firm, custom fit.
• Ratchet-style insertion prevents easy removal or jarring free.

How durable is the lock in bad weather and against tampering?

Constructed from heavy-duty steel paired with quality aluminum components, the Cenipar hitch lock is built to withstand the elements and resist basic theft attempts. A corrosion-resistant finish and internal waterproof seals protect moving parts, while the tight-fit ratchet and solid insertion hole make prying and drilling more difficult.

• Heavy-duty steel body with anti-corrosion exterior coating.
• Waterproof and dust-proof internal components for longevity.
• Design reduces leverage points to discourage prying and drilling.

How does the combination feature work and reset?

This model uses a four-digit numeric combination so you don’t need to carry keys. The default code ships as "0000" and can be reset to a personal combination when you first program it. Turning the dials to your chosen code and engaging the ratchet secures the coupler; simple instructions make resets straightforward and repeatable.

• Keyless access with a 4-digit combination (default 0000).
• Changeable code for controlled, shared access without key copies.
• Quick to lock and unlock—ideal for frequent hookups and storage.

Will this lock actually deter thieves?

The combination of bright yellow visibility and a robust steel build serves as both a psychological and physical deterrent. While no lock is completely impervious to determined attackers with the right tools, the Cenipar hitch lock significantly raises the effort and time required to steal a trailer, making it a practical preventative measure for most owners.

• High-visibility yellow paint signals protection at a glance.
• Solid construction increases time and effort needed to breach.
• Effective for reducing opportunistic theft and vandalism risk.

Who is this for: The Cenipar Trailer Hitch Lock is aimed at trailer, RV, boat and camper owners who want a reliable, weather-resistant, keyless security solution that fits multiple common coupler sizes. If you frequently unhitch in public spaces, store a trailer outdoors, or prefer a visible theft deterrent without managing keys, this adjustable combination lock is suitable for personal and recreational use.
