Chemical Guys Extreme Bodywash & Wax car wash soap 64 oz — high-foaming, carnauba gloss boost

C hemical Guys Extreme Bodywash & Wax is a two-in-one, high-foaming car wash soap that cleans surfaces while depositing carnauba wax for added gloss and water beading in a single wash.

This 64-ounce concentrated shampoo blends rich, clinging suds with natural carnauba to simplify exterior maintenance. It lifts dirt safely from paint and trim, rinses clean, and leaves a hydrophobic finish that enhances shine between detailing sessions. The formula is pH-balanced so it’s gentle on existing wax, sealant, or ceramic layers and is formulated to work with foam cannons, foam guns, or traditional hand-washing methods.

How does this soap protect my finish while washing?

The shampoo uses thick, lubricating foam to encapsulate and suspend contaminants, reducing friction during rinsing or contact with a mitt. As it rinses, micro amounts of carnauba deposit on the surface to boost gloss and promote water beading without leaving heavy residue.

• Clinging suds lift grit away from paint to lower abrasion risk.
• Carnauba wax leaves a thin, hydrophobic layer for shine and beading.
• pH-balanced formulation helps preserve existing protection.
• Rinses clean to avoid streaks or dulling residues.

Can I use Extreme Bodywash & Wax with my foam cannon or two-bucket method?

Yes — the concentrate is formulated for versatile use. It produces dense foam with a pressure washer foam cannon or a garden-hose foam gun and also performs well when diluted for a two-bucket hand wash.

• Compatible with foam cannons and foam guns for thick suds.
• Dilutes easily for mitt-and-bucket washes (concentrate control).
• Slick lubrication reduces drag when using a wash mitt.
• Works effectively whether using high- or low-pressure systems.

Is this safe on wheels, trim, glass, and other exterior surfaces?

The formula is designed to be safe across common exterior materials, cleaning paint, plastics, chrome, glass, and alloy wheels without stripping protective coatings when used as directed. Avoid concentrated contact on delicate or unsealed surfaces by diluting appropriately.

• Safe for painted surfaces, clear coat, and trim when diluted.
• Can be used on glass and chrome for streak-free rinsing.
• Appropriate for motorcycles, trucks, RVs, and boats with rinsing.
• Gentle enough for frequent maintenance washes to retain protection.

Who is this for? Chemical Guys Extreme Bodywash & Wax is aimed at car owners and detailers who want to streamline washing and maintenance: enthusiasts who like frequent cleaning with visible gloss, professionals needing consistent foaming performance with a protective boost, and everyday drivers who want quick water-beading results without a separate waxing step. If you use foam cannons, perform two-bucket washes, or maintain multiple vehicle types, this concentrated 64 oz bottle provides a flexible, pro-grade option that enhances appearance while reducing steps in your routine.
