CleanTools Absorber® XXL 32" x 20" Drying Chamois Cloth - Red, Super-Absorbent & Scratch-Free for Cars and Trucks

The Absorber® XXL is a 32" x 20" premium synthetic drying chamois that soaks up water quickly, protects paint with a soft, non-abrasive surface, and is machine washable for repeated use.

Designed for cars, trucks, SUVs and other large surfaces, this large-format drying cloth speeds up post-wash drying while reducing the risk of scratches, streaks, and lint. Made by CleanTools in a vivid red, the Absorber® XXL combines a plush synthetic weave with a compact storage tube so you can dry vehicles at home or on the go without fuss. Below you'll find practical answers to common buyer questions, concrete usage tips, and the product details that matter when choosing a drying chamois.

How much faster does the Absorber® XXL dry a vehicle?

Because of its oversized dimensions and highly absorbent synthetic fibers, one pass of the Absorber® XXL removes significantly more water than a standard towel, cutting drying time for large vehicles. The cloth is engineered to hold many times its weight in liquid so you need fewer passes and less wringing.

• Size: 32" x 20" covers wider panels in one sweep.
• High-capacity synthetic fiber soaks up large volumes of water.
• Less wringing required — saves time and energy.
• Ideal for SUVs, trucks, and big sedans.

Will this chamois scratch or leave lint on paintwork?

The Absorber® XXL uses a soft, non-abrasive synthetic pile that minimizes surface friction and resists linting, helping to preserve paint finish when used properly. Always rinse the cloth before use and keep it free of trapped grit to maintain a scratch-free experience.

• Soft synthetic surface designed for delicate paint and clear coats.
• Low-lint construction reduces leftover fibers on panels.
• Rinse and shake out debris before drying for safest use.

How do I clean and store the Absorber® XXL?

This drying chamois is machine washable, so you can refresh it after heavy use and keep it performing like new. Dry on a low setting or air-dry, fold it neatly, and return it to the included storage tube to protect the fabric and keep your garage organized.

• Machine wash safe — use mild detergent, avoid fabric softener.
• Tumble dry low or air-dry to preserve absorbency.
• Comes with a storage tube for tidy transport and protection.

What are practical tips for using this oversized drying cloth?

To make the most of the Absorber® XXL, work in sections, lay the chamois flat across panels, and use a gentle, straight-line motion to lift water rather than rubbing in circles. For heavily soiled surfaces, rinse the cloth frequently to avoid trapping dirt against the paint.

• Use a flat, single-pass motion to pick up water efficiently.
• Rinse periodically during drying to remove any trapped debris.
• Store in the tube after drying to maintain shape and cleanliness.

Who is this for: The CleanTools Absorber® XXL is aimed at owners of large vehicles, professional detailers, and anyone who prefers a fast, low-risk drying method. If you wash SUVs, pickup trucks, caravans, or frequently detail multiple cars, this oversized, reusable chamois reduces drying time and helps protect paint — while the included storage tube keeps the cloth ready for mobile or at-home use.
