COVEUEWGLK Matte Black License Plate Frames 2-Pack — Universal 12x6 Aluminum, Low-Profile Corrosion-Resistant

These COVEUEWGLK license plate frames come as a ready-to-install twin pack with the small hardware set you need to attach both front and rear plates. Constructed from lightweight aluminum with a smooth painted finish, the pair aims to resist corrosion and provide a low-profile, refined look for most passenger vehicles. The package includes washers, screw caps, machine screws, and a screwdriver so you can mount them quickly and neatly.

Will these frames fit my vehicle's license plate?

Yes — the frames are sized to accommodate the common 12 x 6 inch license plate standard used on most cars and trucks. They are designed with a universal hole pattern and a rear slot system that helps align and secure the plate without bending it.

• Fits standard 12 x 6 inch plates for most U.S. vehicles
• Back double-slot design for stable mounting and reduced plate deformation
• Comes as two frames for front and rear use

How durable and safe are the matte-black aluminum frames?

The frames use lightweight aluminum for toughness and long-term resistance to rust and aging, while the painted surface improves visual texture and limits weathering. Edges are polished smooth to avoid sharpness that could scratch the plate or injure hands during installation.

• Aluminum body resists corrosion better than untreated metals
• Surface painting for a refined matte finish and added protection
• Rounded, polished edges prevent damage to plates and reduce injury risk

What hardware and steps are included for installation?

Each kit contains the small parts and a screwdriver so you can mount the frames immediately after unboxing. The recommended process uses plastic washers and screw caps to secure the frame and conceal fasteners for a tidy appearance.

• Included: 2 frames, 4 plastic washers, 4 plastic screw caps, 4 machine screws, 1 screwdriver
• Place washers over the top mounting holes, insert screws, then snap screw caps down to lock
• Top-mounted installation keeps the visible border slim while protecting plate corners

Will the frame cover any important plate information?

Because state plate designs vary in text length and layout, a narrow border may partially obscure small characters or state names on some plates. The frames prioritize protection and a low profile, but check your plate after mounting to ensure required registration details remain visible.

• Designed to minimize occlusion, but actual coverage depends on plate text placement
• Not all state names and registration stickers will be affected the same way
• Inspect after installation to confirm visibility of required details

Who is this for? Drivers who want a simple, understated upgrade for both front and rear plates will benefit from this two-pack: people replacing worn frames, protecting plates from deformation, or looking for an affordable, corrosion-resistant option with included hardware. If you prioritize a slim matte look and a quick, tool-assisted install, these COVEUEWGLK frames are intended for daily drivers, commuters, and vehicle owners seeking neat, durable plate protection without bold branding.
