Creative Products Group RV Privacy Locking Knob Set - Matte Black, Brass, Fits 1-1/8"–1-1/2" Doors

The Creative Products Group LSK-C3-MB is a matte-black privacy locking knob set made for RV bathroom and bedroom doors, built from durable brass and sized for standard RV door thicknesses.

This locking knob set combines a subtle matte-black finish with solid brass construction to give RV interiors a clean, modern look while providing a simple privacy lock for bathrooms and bedrooms. It’s engineered for easy installation in RV-style doors, with a 2-3/8" backset and a 7/8" drive-in latch. The knob fits door thicknesses from 1-1/8" to 1-1/2", making it compatible with most RV cabinetry and interior doors.

How does this knob set install in RV doors?

Installation is straightforward and designed around RV door standards. The latch is a 7/8" drive-in type that requires minimal routing and aligns with a 2-3/8" backset, so you won’t need specialty tools for most installs.

• Backset: 2-3/8" for standard alignment
• Latch: 7/8" drive-in style for quick fitting
• Fits doors 1-1/8" to 1-1/2" thick without extra spacers
• Typical installation involves screwing through the rose and driving the latch into the door edge

What are the materials and finish, and how will they wear in an RV environment?

The knob set uses durable brass internal components with a matte-black external finish that resists glare and blends with modern RV interiors. Brass offers corrosion resistance compared with cheaper metals, and the matte finish hides fingerprints and light scratches better than polished surfaces.

• Durable brass construction for longevity in mobile environments
• Matte-black finish reduces visible smudges and bright reflections
• Privacy-style lock suitable for repetitive everyday use
• Finish complements contemporary RV color palettes and hardware

Will this keypad/knob fit the doors and function as a privacy lock?

Yes — the LSK-C3-MB is specifically designed as a privacy locking knob, not a keyed exterior lock. Its dimensions and latch type match common RV interior door specifications so it functions reliably as a simple privacy solution.

• Privacy-style locking mechanism for bathrooms and bedrooms
• Not intended as a high-security keyed exterior lock
• Works well on sliding or hinged RV interior doors designed for a 7/8" drive-in latch
• Simple release or emergency access features typically provided on privacy knobs

How does the look and size of this knob affect interior design?

The matte-black aesthetic provides a contemporary contrast against wood, laminate, and light-colored RV interiors, giving a refined yet understated accent. Its compact form suits tight corridors and small cabins without overwhelming the space.

• Matte black pairs with industrial, modern, and rustic RV themes
• Low-profile knob shape conserves space in narrow interiors
• Brass core ensures stable hardware feel despite its slim silhouette
• Neutral finish allows easy coordination with hinges and cabinet pulls
