csslyzl MK7 GTI Sequential LED Side Mirror Turn Signals — Smoked Lens, Plug-and-Play Pair

csslyzl MK7 GTI Sequential Turn Signal Side Mirror Indicator Light is a plug-and-play replacement that upgrades stock mirror blinkers to a smoke-lens, dynamic sequential LED signal for 2015+ VW MK7 Golf R, GTI, GTD and Alltrack models.

Give your MK7 Volkswagen a modern, flowing turn-signal effect without dealer coding or complex wiring. This pair of left and right sequential LED strips replaces the OEM side mirror indicators (OEM part numbers 5GD949101 and 5GD949102) to deliver a smoked finish and directional animation that improves visibility and style while preserving factory fitment.

How does the sequential effect differ from the stock signal?

The csslyzl sequential unit animates LEDs in a short progressive sweep, creating a visible motion cue compared with the single on/off flash of standard mirror indicators. That motion is more attention-grabbing to other drivers and pedestrians, while maintaining legal signal function.

• Animated multi-LED sweep for clearer signaling
• Smoked lens for a refined OEM-plus appearance
• Direct replacement of factory signal strip—no structural changes

Will these fit my 2015-up VW MK7 without modification?

Yes—these lamps are designed specifically for the 2015 and later MK7 platforms including Golf R, GTI, GTD and Alltrack. They match the factory footprint and connector layout, so no cutting or adapter harnesses are normally required.

• Compatible with MK7 2015 and newer Golf R, GTI, GTD, Alltrack
• Replaces OEM part numbers 5GD949101 and 5GD949102
• Sold as a matching left and right pair for full replacement

How difficult is installation and do I need coding?

Installation is straightforward for anyone comfortable removing mirror glass and accessing the interior cap. No ECU coding is required—just replace the lamp assembly and follow a simple vehicle reset so the onboard computer recognizes the new unit.

• Carefully remove mirror glass to reach internal screws and clips
• Release clips to remove cover, swap the LED strip, then reassemble
• Lock vehicle, wait ~5 seconds, then start engine to let the computer reset

What should I expect in terms of durability and appearance?

These indicators use LED technology that provides long life, consistent light output, and fast response. The smoke lens offers a subtle, factory-style darkened look during daytime and a clear sequential signal when active.

• LEDs for improved lifespan and faster illumination
• Smoke lens for a discrete but upscale look when inactive
• OEM-style fit and finish to match mirror housing contours

Who is this for: Drivers of 2015 and newer Volkswagen MK7 Golf R, GTI, GTD and Alltrack looking to modernize their exterior signaling with a seamless, plug-and-play sequential mirror indicator. Ideal for enthusiasts who want improved visibility, an upgraded aesthetic, and an easy installation without dealer coding.
