Danbojit Passenger Right-Side Heated Mirror Glass for 2009–2018 Dodge Ram 1500/2500 — OE-Fit Convex

Replacement heated passenger-side mirror glass for 2009–2018 Dodge Ram 1500 and 2500 that restores visibility by matching OE fit, heated function, and easy plug-and-play installation.

This Danbojit passenger-side heated mirror glass is built to replace cracked, fogged, or non-functioning right-side mirrors on Dodge Ram 1500 and 2500 models from 2009 through 2018. It is designed as a direct replacement for OE part numbers 68050298AA and 68079362AA, features a convex profile for wider field of view, and includes the heated element to help clear ice and fog in damp or cold conditions. The back plate is molded from ABS and the unit ships with the required metal clips and plug adapters so most owners can swap the glass without modifying the original housing. Note: this part does not fit towing mirror assemblies and is for the passenger-side only.

How will this heated mirror glass improve driving in bad weather?

The integrated heating element warms the glass to reduce condensation, ice and light frost buildup so you maintain a clearer rearward view in wet or cold conditions. Clearing the passenger-side mirror faster helps you make safer lane changes and parking maneuvers during inclement weather.

• Heated function removes fog, light frost, and thin ice faster than an unheated mirror.
• Convex surface increases visible area to reduce blind spots.
• Direct OE fit means heating connects to your truck’s existing wiring harness.

Will this mirror glass fit my Ram 1500/2500 and match factory specs?

Yes — the Danbojit glass is manufactured to replace OE numbers 68050298AA and 68079362AA and is compatible with passenger-side heated mirrors on 2009–2018 Ram 1500 and 2500 models. It is intended as a direct replacement for standard heated side mirrors, not for towing or auto-dimming variants unless listed.

• Compatible years: 2009–2018 for Ram 1500 and 2500 passenger-side heated mirrors.
• Direct-replace OE references: 68050298AA and 68079362AA.
• Not compatible with towing mirror housings or special auto-dimming assemblies unless specified.

How difficult is the installation and what’s included?

Installation is straightforward for someone comfortable with basic vehicle trim work: the unit uses an ABS back plate, includes two metal clips and the plug for the heated connection so it snaps into the existing mirror housing and connects to the stock wiring. No soldering or extra wiring is normally required — simply remove the old glass, attach the clips, plug in the heater connector, and press the new glass into place.

• Includes: heated mirror glass, ABS back plate, two metal clips, and plug adaptor for heater connection.
• Typical tools: trim pry tool or flat-head screwdriver and gloves to prevent fingerprints on glue-free surfaces.
• Time estimate: roughly 10–30 minutes for experienced DIYers.

What materials and quality checks does Danbojit use?

The replacement glass uses a molded ABS backing for structural stability and factory-style glass with the heated grid embedded. Each unit is test-checked before shipment to help ensure the heating element and clips function properly when fitted to the original mirror housing.

• ABS back plate for a secure, OE-style fit and durability.
• Factory-tested heating element to verify operation prior to shipping.
• If you receive a defective item, contact Danbojit for assistance and warranty options.

Who is this for? This Danbojit passenger-side heated mirror glass is aimed at Ram owners who need a direct, cost-effective replacement for damaged, cracked, or non-heating right-side mirrors on 2009–2018 1500 and 2500 models. It suits DIY mechanics and professional technicians seeking an OE-referenced part (68050298AA / 68079362AA) that restores heated functionality and expands the visible field with a convex profile. If your truck uses a towing mirror or a special auto-dimming assembly, check fitment before ordering.
