Design Engineering Heat Sheath™ aluminized sleeving is a slip-on, heavy-duty thermal shield that reflects intense radiant heat and defends hoses, wires, and fluid lines from abrasion and contaminants.

Built from 19 oz high-temperature fiberglass insulation laminated to an aluminized outer layer and stitched with aramid thread, this 3/4" I.D. x 3 ft sleeving helps preserve critical vehicle and machine lines in high-heat, dirty, and abrasive environments. It reflects radiant heat up to 2000°F and resists direct contact heat up to 500°F while offering splash and abrasion protection against oil, fuel, chemicals, dirt, grease, and road debris. The sleeving is designed for simple slip-on installation and is manufactured in the USA. Note: do not wrap the Heat Sheath directly onto exhaust headers or pipes.
