DEWHEL Acrylic 4-Star Dragon Shift Knob 54mm — M12x1.25 with Multiple Adapters, Solid Weight

DEWHEL's 54mm acrylic 4-Star Dragon shift knob is a durable, stylish ball-style replacement that fits many manual and gated automatic shifters using supplied multi-thread adapters.

If you want to upgrade your car's tactile feel and interior look, this DEWHEL shift knob offers a compact, solid acrylic ball with a decorative four-star dragon motif and multiple thread adapters to suit several shifter stems. Designed with a 54mm diameter for palm-friendly handling, the knob ships with copper adapters to convert the factory thread to the unit's M12x1.25 base, making it compatible with a wide range of popular Japanese and other brands. The finish and weight are engineered to improve shifting feedback while adding a customized visual touch to your cabin.

What vehicles and shifters will this DEWHEL knob fit?

The knob is intended for manual and gated-style automatic shifters that accept a screw-on ball. The default thread is M12x1.25, and the package includes three adapters (M8x1.25, M10x1.5, M10x1.25) to broaden compatibility. It will work with many Acura, Honda, Infiniti, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Scion, Subaru BRZ, Toyota and similar models when thread sizes match.

• Default thread: M12x1.25 (factory on many JDM cars)
• Included adapters: M8x1.25, M10x1.5, M10x1.25
• Fits gated-style shifters only — not push-button automatics
• 54mm diameter ball designed for palm comfort and control

How do I install the DEWHEL 4-Star Dragon shift knob safely?

Installation is straightforward: choose the correct adapter, hand-thread the adapter onto your shifter stem, then screw the DEWHEL knob onto the adapter until it seats against the jam nut. Avoid forcing the knob down onto the shifter base; bottoming out can crack the acrylic. Hand-tighten securely against the jam nut to lock the knob in place.

• Select matching adapter and thread by hand before tightening
• Tighten only against the jam nut—do not bottom out
• If alignment is needed, loosen and realign before final torque
• Use hand tools sparingly; overtightening can damage the knob

What are the materials, size, and expected feel while shifting?

The knob is molded from high-quality acrylic to deliver a tough, glossy finish and a solid weight that improves shift feel compared with lighter stock knobs. At 54mm diameter, it fits most driver palms and provides a smooth, rounded contact surface. The decorative four-star dragon design offers a unique visual accent without altering ergonomics.

• Material: durable acrylic with a polished surface
• Size: 54mm diameter round ball—comfortable grip for most hands
• Design: 4-star dragon motif for distinct styling
• Weight: denser than hollow plastic, for firmer shifting feedback

Who is this DEWHEL shift knob for? This product suits drivers who want an affordable interior upgrade that improves tactile shifting and adds a personalized aesthetic. It appeals to owners of JDM and other vehicles with compatible thread sizes who prefer a compact, ball-style knob and who understand the installation caution about not bottoming out the unit. It's also a practical gift for car enthusiasts who value both function and a standout cabin detail.
