Dtomi Engine Radiator Overflow Tank for BMW — Direct-Fit Reservoir with Cap & Sensor (17137640514)

Dtomi Engine Radiator Overflow Tank (17137640514 / 17137567462) is a direct-fit coolant expansion reservoir kit that includes the cap and level sensor to restore your BMW’s coolant system integrity.

If your BMW shows low-coolant warnings, visible leaks near the front, or an over-pressurized cooling system, a failing overflow tank is often the culprit. This Dtomi replacement reservoir is manufactured to match OEM fitment and connects directly to the original mounting points and hoses. It’s supplied as a complete assembly — tank, seal cap, and level sensor — so you can replace the defective unit quickly and get the cooling system back to proper operation.

Which BMW models will this Dtomi reservoir fit?

This tank is compatible with a wide range of BMW vehicles, covering multiple 1 Series, 3 Series, Z4 and X1 variants across several years. Confirm the part reference numbers against your vehicle before purchasing to ensure exact compatibility.

• Fits numerous models: 1 Series (including M and 128i/135i variants), 3 Series E90/E91/E92/E93, X1 E84, and Z4 E89.
• Applicable engines: common L4 2.0L and L6 3.0L BMW engines listed in the compatibility table.
• Cross-references: replaces OEM numbers like 17137640514, 17137567462 and related part codes.

How does this replacement tank simplify installation and maintenance?

The Dtomi unit is designed as a plug-and-play replacement that uses the same attachment points and electrical connector for the level sensor as the original. That minimizes the time and tools required for a swap and reduces the chance of fitment issues during DIY replacement or in a workshop.

• Includes cap and level sensor so no separate purchases are needed.
• Manufactured from durable plastic engineered to meet OEM-style specifications.
• Direct-fit design reduces installation time and avoids modifications.

What should I verify before ordering this coolant reservoir?

Always match the part and vehicle details carefully to avoid returns. Even within the same model family, variations in engine, drivetrain (xDrive) or production year may require a specific tank version.

• Compare the listed replacement numbers (e.g., 17137640514) with your current part.
• Confirm vehicle model, year, and engine type against the compatibility list.
• Inspect connector style and mounting point orientation on your existing reservoir.

What are the package contents and product features?

This Dtomi kit is delivered as a complete replacement assembly and includes the primary components needed for immediate installation. The product emphasizes durability and practical fit to restore coolant containment and sensor function.

• Package includes: 1 coolant reservoir tank, 1 pressure cap, 1 level sensor.
• Material: high-strength automotive-grade plastic, designed for engine-bay heat and pressure cycling.
• Replaces multiple OEM numbers and some aftermarket cross-references for broad compatibility.

Who is this for? This Dtomi Engine Radiator Overflow Tank kit is aimed at BMW owners and independent mechanics who need an affordable, direct-fit replacement for a cracked, leaking, or malfunctioning coolant expansion tank. It’s particularly useful for models and years listed in the compatibility section, and for DIYers who want a complete assembly (tank, cap, sensor) that reduces install complexity. If you’re unsure about fitment, double-check the reference numbers or consult a mechanic before purchase.
