How accurate is the color match for Chrysler Forest Green Pearl (PG8)?

Dupli-Color ties its Perfect Match line directly to manufacturer color codes, including PG8 for Chrysler Forest Green Pearl, so the hue is tested against factory standards. Slight variation can occur between displays and the final dried coating, so use the vehicle paint code and test in an inconspicuous area first.

• Color based on official manufacturer paint code PG8
• Factory-tested match for Chrysler OEM finishes
• Best results when applied over properly prepped OEM surfaces
• Small sample test recommended before full application

What surfaces and projects is this 8 oz can best suited for?

This aerosol is formulated for OEM-painted metal and plastic trim, small panels, and accessories—ideal for spot repairs and items that need a precise color blend. It's not intended as a full-body professional respray, but it excels for chips, quarter-panel touch-ups, and repainting small trim pieces.

• Touch-ups on doors, fenders, and bumpers
• Sprucing up trim pieces, mirrors, and emblems
• Refinishing small parts removed from the vehicle
• Quick fixes where matching factory gloss and hue matters

How do I apply it for the best finish and coverage?

Shake the can thoroughly and spray in light, overlapping passes using the EZ Touch 360° Fan Spray nozzle to achieve smooth, even coats. Allow the paint to dry to the touch in about 30 minutes and handle in approximately one hour, following standard prep steps like cleaning, sanding, and priming where necessary.

• Clean and de-grease the repair area first
• Lightly sand damaged edges and apply primer on bare metal or plastic
• Spray multiple light coats with 5–10 minutes flash time between passes
• Dry to touch ~30 minutes; handle after ~1 hour (temperature dependent)

What should I know about coverage, safety, and compatibility?

One 8 oz can covers roughly 10–12 square feet, depending on application thickness and surface texture. Use proper ventilation and protective equipment; aerosols contain solvents and should not be used near heat sources. This acrylic lacquer bonds well to OEM paint systems when preparation is correct.

• Estimated coverage: 10–12 sq ft per can
• Works over factory paints when properly prepped and primed
• Use in well-ventilated areas and follow all label safety instructions
• Colors may look different on screens—verify with vehicle paint code
