Durabasics 1 Gallon Ultrasonic Cleaner Solution is a concentrated, professional-strength cleaner formulated for ultrasonic and immersion washers to remove carbon, grease, varnish, and gums from carburetors and engine parts.
This heavy-duty, fragrance-free formula is designed for mechanics, restorers, and DIY enthusiasts who need a reliable cleaner that works deep inside passages, blind holes, and complex castings. Mix the concentrate at the recommended ratio for powerful cavitation-assisted cleaning that reduces manual scrubbing and shortens rebuild times. It’s engineered to be safe on common metals while delivering the aggressive performance required for automotive, motorcycle, and small-engine work.
Prepare the cleaning bath by diluting the concentrate with water using the 1:5 ratio (one part solution to five parts water) unless your specific application calls for a different concentration. Fill the ultrasonic tank to the manufacturer’s recommended level, heat if advised, and run cycles until contaminants loosen and lift away. Rinse parts thoroughly after cleaning and dry to prevent oxidation.
The formula is intended for common engine and mechanical metals and is safe on aluminum, brass, copper, and cast iron when used according to directions. Avoid using on materials that are inherently reactive or untested, such as soft-plated finishes, certain polymers, or electronic components unless manufacturer guidance allows immersion cleaning. When in doubt, test a small area first.
Designed for industrial-strength cleaning, the solution assists ultrasonic cavitation to break up carbonized deposits, varnish layers, and oily grime in hard-to-reach areas. The micro-bubble action created by the ultrasonic unit carries cleaning action into tiny passages and blind holes, dislodging deposits that manual brushing often cannot reach. Results depend on concentration, temperature, and cycle time.
Use gloves and eye protection to avoid skin and eye contact; ensure good ventilation in the workspace. Do not mix with other chemicals unless specified by the manufacturer, and always follow the ultrasonic unit’s safety and temperature guidelines. Store the concentrate in a cool, dry place away from children and pets.
Who is this for: Durabasics Ultrasonic Cleaner Solution is made for mechanics, vintage motorcycle and small-engine restorers, auto-repair shops, and anyone rebuilding carburetors or cleaning engine components. It suits users who own or operate ultrasonic or immersion washers and need a concentrated, professional cleaner that reduces manual labor while protecting common metal parts when used as directed.
