Edelbrock Pro-Flo 10" Satin-Black Round Air Cleaner — 2" Paper Element, Low-Profile 3.5" Height

The Edelbrock 1203 Pro-Flo is a 10-inch satin-black aluminum round air cleaner with a 2-inch replaceable paper element designed to fit 5-1/8" diameter carburetors.

This compact, low-profile air cleaner pairs classic styling with practical filtration and compatibility for a wide range of carbureted engines. Built from aluminum with a satin black finish and a contrasting white Edelbrock logo, the 1203 Pro-Flo offers a 3.5" overall height and is engineered for use with many popular carburetor types while keeping a tidy engine-bay appearance.

Which carburetors will this 10" Edelbrock air cleaner fit?

The 1203 is made to fit carburetors that have a 5-1/8" mounting diameter. It works with Edelbrock Performer Series and Thunder Series AVS carburetors as well as many common aftermarket and OEM units.

• Compatible with Holley, Thermo-Quad, Quadra Jet and Carter AFB styles.
• Also suited to multiple Edelbrock carburetor models (see product notes for full fit list).
• 10" diameter clears many engine components while providing adequate airflow for street applications.

How tall is the assembly and can it be used where hood clearance is limited?

The entire assembly measures 3.5" from the gasket flange to the top of the retaining nut, making it a low-profile option for tight engine bays. Heights are measured precisely and listed with an accuracy within 1/8" to help verify fitment under a particular hood.

• 3.5" overall height helps maintain hood clearance on most classic and modern vehicles.
• Height measured from gasket flange to top of nut for consistent comparison.
• Compact design works well with aftermarket intake manifolds and shrouds in constrained spaces.

What is the filter element and how is maintenance handled?

The air cleaner uses a 2" tall replaceable paper element, offering straightforward, serviceable filtration. Paper elements are inexpensive and simple to swap out during routine maintenance to keep airflow and protection consistent.

• Replaceable 2" paper element for easy maintenance and replacement.
• Paper media captures particulates effectively for street-driven vehicles.
• Element replacement restores optimal airflow and protection without specialized tools.

Does this model support crankcase ventilation or vacuum connections?

Yes — the 10" model includes a knock-out provision in the air cleaner base to accept a crankcase breather or Edelbrock crankcase ventilation adapter (adapter sold separately). This feature allows routing of crankcase vapors back into the intake system where required or preferred.

• Base knock-out allows installation of a breather or Edelbrock adapter #1205 (sold separately).
• Provides a tidy, factory-like way to handle crankcase ventilation routing.
• Maintains appearance while allowing functional engine ventilation connections.

Who is this for: The Edelbrock 1203 Pro-Flo 10" air cleaner is ideal for car owners, restorers and hot-rodders who need a low-profile, attractive air cleaner that fits a wide variety of 5-1/8" carburetors. It suits street-driven classics, custom builds, and any application where compact height, simple replaceable filtration, and a satin-black aesthetic are priorities. If you require a breather hookup, the base knock-out accepts common adapters, and the replaceable paper element makes upkeep straightforward for DIY maintenance schedules.
